That's not very relevant, as nobody was suggesting that our rights to live in house, be fat, post on the Internet, etc. were being eroded.

Yeah, in the episode he gets drunk & drives through the marathon (crossing the finish line "first") & later he uses a cell phone that belonged to an actual terrorist ( that he helped capture/kill) & detonates a bomb on a bridge.

Fair enough, I can see what your saying, and i maybe shouldn't have put it like that.

But trying to rile up people by pretending the US government is some tyrannical entity that is gonna turn totalitarian at any second, and even plans too, strikes me as a dangerous attitude too.

Won't that be next, after all we are playing the slippery slope game aren't we. LOL. I'm just trying to show how funny it probably looks to people that live in real tyranny...

Black powder makes perfect sense if you think about it, why risk your own neck mixing up something in the sink when you can just go down to a gun shop and buy it over the counter, you don't even have to buy it all at the same shop.

I just watched the episode. It does not depict what happened. Yes Peter runs over people to win the Boston marathon because he drove instead of ran it. And yes there where bombs in a differant incident but certainly not a prediction on the real thing. The guy is a nut.
 
A coworker of mine had been going berserk over every little piece of misinformation he has stumbled across (between you and me, he should really spend less time on BS fringe sites and more time doing his job). About two hours after the incident he grimly informed me that 12 people were dead and the bomber was in custody:boggled:

On Tuesday he excitedly showed me this video that he thinks is an inept Photoshop/airbrushing job of cleaning blood/gore from the video.



I asked him why "they" airbrushed out the gore after the guy in the foreground walks by, but not before. He said they must have forgotten to. He was also hot and bothered over the "Family Guy" thing.

His bottomless credulity depresses me, but then a lot of things depress me, lately.

Yes, I've been seeing that video making the rounds from a few people I know on facebook. It's sad, and a purposeful edit job to mess with CTers from what I can tell..

Here is the actual, unedited video. It's a flag being dragged off in the background. You can see it at around 2:30.. You will probably need to full screen the vid to see the flag or red cloth being dragged away.
