This may sound very lazy but I sorta have to get past the book club block to get to the actual politics forum and I note that the book club has not had any posts in a while. Migh we deep six it? Or, failing that, rent the space to a greased goat porn site?

There is a thread regarding this issue in the forum management section. But in any case, you can click the little button (two chevrons in a circle) below the "Posts" heading, that will collapse the book club into nothing more than a blue bar.

If you look to the right of the blue bar where it says "Political Book Club", you'll see a circle with two up arrows in it. Click on it and it will turn into a circle with two down arrows, and the book club entries will go away. You can click on the circle again to bring the book club listing back. I check it about once a week to see if anyone's added anything.

I'm reading Shut Up and Sing in short bursts right now, but I don't think it would be a a good BC selection.
