Bombs in Basemant=Top-down collapse?

Could someone please explain to me how in the world bombs in the basemant of the WTC towers has anything to do with the top down collapses of the towers? If there were indeed bombs in the basemant, would'nt that have led to a sideways collapse of the towers or atleast a traditional bottom up collapse, as in an actual controlled demo? The collapse of the WTC towers was initiated at the point of plane impact and moved progressively downwards towards the basemant...not the other way around.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before...I just thought of it on the subway home...:D

Don't even bother mentioning, the core standing after collapse. What were the bombs for? CT'ers hate that question!
 
I've tried on several occasions to get troofers to explain this, none have.

Well it was to losen the core at the bottom. That is why the core columns were seen to tip over so easily after the top down collapse occured.

Wow...I guess I must be a rational person, who's brain is governed by common sense....cause I still don't get it. :D

If the "truthers" were really interested in the truth, they would look at this and think "hmm..that is interesting. maybe there is another explenation for these explosions in the basemant, other then bombs".

From the sound of your second statement. It sounds like you "get it". You're atleast warm. They ain't interested!

thats exactly it, they are only interested in compilng huge lists of "smoking guns" they dont care that they are all pointing in different directions, and when you ask them to reconcile one with the other they just claim it still proves the official story false and thats why they want another investigation

they dont seem to realize that any alternative explanation will still suffer 90% of their smoking guns, plus all the evidence for the official story
 
Well, if I were a rational evil genius plotting to take out the towers, and I wasn't certain the airplane impacts alone would do the job, I might consider a few explosive charges in the basement (and perhaps a few other select locations) to take out the water supply to the sprinklers.

But apparently our "real" conspirators would never have done that (or at least, our intrepid introothigators have never thought of it), because it wouldn't help fulfill the all-important objective of making the collapses look superficially similar to controlled demolition.

The bombs didn't work properly (just like in 1993). The buildings were meant to fall over sideways when the planes hit them (hence Mr Rodriguez hear the explosion BEFORE the impact). Because the bombs didn't work properly they had to send in their invisible ninjas (wearing new hi-tech invisible coats) to lay explosives in the impact zone.

It's all very obvious, really.

Well, a structure like a building, that is fixed at one end (the ground) and free to move at the other (the sky), will tend to have vibration resonances that set up standing waves with a node at the fixed end, and a point of maximum displacement at the other, free end. The bombs set up a massive standing wave in the building, causing the free end to undergo overwhelming movement (like the end of a whip cracking) that overcame it's structural integrity, causing it to explosively decay from the free end downwards.

Just like we saw on 9/11!








Only an hour later than it should have happened, of course.....
