Merged Bitcoin - Part 3

The price is about the same as it was 2 years ago and about half the price it was 9 months ago. There have been more severe swings than this in the past.

Bitcoin has proven to be more resilient than a single scam company in the past.

i meant the end of strategy, not the end of bitcoin. strategy’s inevitable collapse is going to drive the bitcoin price very low tho

lol yeah no way to tell if the collapse of a company holding almost a million bitcoin would effect the price, good point

wow look at you making all these bold predictions, pretty impressive. here’s mine: you won’t be able to tell i’m blowing you off because you’re wasting my time

Wow. Look at all those random words.

ETA I found a quote that says it better than anything I can say:
Pure Cult Indoctrination: in case of any criticism, find a reason to dismiss the critic and never engage with the actual critique.

well you got me there, definitely not interested in engaging with whatever point you’re trying to make here. in fact, that was what i meant when i said i was blowing you off and you called it random.

and hey, looks like i was right. you couldn’t tell lol

here’s a filing from the sec, it’s an investor presentation. maybe you can take a look and figure out how this doesn’t collapse, you’ll have to scroll past all the pictures of pyramids they use to explain the investment strategy to the text tho

lol yup you got me again. strategy is a great business and investment, you really showed me.

Of course you can't provide such evidence. There is no way to tell how much of a change in the price of bitcoin is due to the changing fortunes of strategy (or any other crypto trader).
Sure there is. Just calculate what the result should be if they did or didn't. It might not be a very accurate prediction, but it would certainly show a difference. There are people who make a living out of this kind of thing, and do quite well out of it. Your predictions don't have to be perfect, just better than average.

There was a time when Bitcoin was driven by chaotic forces that were hard to predict. However now that 'institutional' investors have largely taken over it's becoming more predictable. When someone buys or sells a large amount the effect will be measurable. Big investors aren't generally just looking at the price and guessing, they are using sophisticated models that take a lot of variables into account. That's why they do better than the average speculator.

obviously the collapse of a company holding nearly a million bitcoin is going to put a bunch of negative pressure on the price, just as them buying all that bitcoin increased the price. that's the whole business model, they borrow, they buy, price goes up, the total value of their investment increases, they borrow more based off the price increase. that's the business model

like, why take a request for a source seriously? or any of your criticisms or complaints? it's a known, the way bitcoin operates isn't that complicated
All you are proving is that you are a liar and nothing you post can be trusted.

GOTO 4947

lol too bad so sad

i guess if you want evidence check out the bitcoin price during the ftx collapse. it dropped 30% or so in nov 2022 and didn't recover until the next year. and there's way more money tied up in strategy, he's already sitting on $11b in unrealized losses. ftx held a number of different cryptos, this is only bitcoin. it will be bad for the price, that's just obvious
