"Give me the child and I'll give you the man" or something. Bitcoin miners are probably getting desperate.

I know the price has been going up generally but the price of Bitcoin only reflects what somebody recently paid for Bitcoin. The trading volumes tell us more about the story of Bitcoin

It's by commentary YouTuber FoldingIdeas. By the end of the video, I was convinced that not only are bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies a scam, but NFTs are a double turbo scam, and the blockchain ledger system is the worst scam of all. It's even actively bad at all the things it's supposed to be good at. It's terrible for privacy, and it's terrible for bookkeeping.

i've actually seen this before, it's a good video. the best part was the art itself was too much data, so you just got a link to a piece of art, and now some of those are now gone. it's just a link. that you own i guess.

it's interesting too because it's a 3 year old video, which was probably around the peak of nfts, not sure where exactly the dates line up. anyway, take a look at them now, what a good investment opportunity that turned out to be.

it's a long video so if you only want to watch some i'd recommend chapter 7

I once read a webcomic that described NFTs as "You sell an idiot nothing and give them bad art as a receipt".
