Birtherism: 'It's not an issue'

Yes they have a name; BIRTHERS.

It is the same group of people by and large.

So what do you say of the alleged Social Security fraud? Should it not be considered or examined?

That might not be good for your Cowboys...

He could end this in seconds, most likely, but it is a valuable sapping of the efforts of many core GOP voters, and alienates independent voters from the GOP quite nicely.

He is too smart to put paid to it.
Don't know about that. I'm not sure it would be possible for him to gain access to the "long form" BC, not to mention it would have little to no effect on the birthers if were able to release it. These CT's have a convenient way of goal post moving. If he released it then they would question "why did Hawaii say it wasn't possible?" And they'd continue to say (as they do now) "it's a fake" and a conspiracy perpetrated by the Hawaiian gov't!!

I find it interesting that an issue raised by a Hillary supporter (Berg) has grown legs once the primaries are over. I was surprised when the whole thing started. If there had been any merit, I am pretty sure Hillary would have taken full advantage of it during the primary process. She didn't (my read being that she assessed the assertion as having no merit) and I am puzzled why others did.

I am not sure how many birthers understand who got this ball rolling.

Berg is a piece of work. I think that in a large way, this birther thing is a way for him to draw attention to himself.

If it is true, it is true, regardless of who went along with what and why.[/QUOTE

Now all it needs is evidence. Got any?

For your theory of the theory to work...

It's not my theory. It is the implicit theory of anyone who accepts the 'birther' conspiracy allegation.

You still insist only on seeing this as Republican vs. Democrat. That is how this continues.

So it is really the NWO/Illuminati/Jews/Space Reptilians/Insert favourite world-controlling bogeyman here who are truly running things?

If it is true, it is true, regardless of who went along with what and why.

For your theory of the theory to work, The Republican Establishment Progressives would only have to at least not be aggressive against The Democratic Establishment Progressives insofar as they not enthusiastically support the opposition of the Conservatives and/or anti-establishment Independents.

The Washington Republican Establishment is happy to secure their second-fiddle seat at the ever-growing Big Government Progressive power and money feasting table.

Wait, what?! So these power elites could have exposed candidate Obama early enough to make Hillary the Democratic nominee - a move that would have ensured a McCain victory - but they decided to let a foreigner be elected instead. Ya shure, that's what happened. [snicker]

Yes, it is all nothing... or... it is probably the greatest conspiracy of fraud and complicity of all time. Yep.

That's just it. It would have to be the greatest conspiracy of all time were a large number of unconnected, politically or otherwise, would have to work together since the early 60s on the off-chance that this one mixed race kid (remember, the early 60s) would become the President. Nay, the first black President. And none of these many, many unconnected people would have to be in the right place at the right time to make all of it happen with absolutely no evidence that it happened and every indication that he was born in the US.

Do you have any conception how difficult that would be? Any idea how much effort and absolute secrecy that would take for such a long shot? Especially for a plot that was originated as early at the 1960, or possibly longer given the complexity of it all. It would take at least the amount of coordination of a Manhattan Project, stretched over 4-5 decades, with no leaks at all.

All so Barack Obama would become the President of the United States.

The question is: Why? What is gained for this group of hyper-Illuminati? So they could have their man in office? Why not recruit a much more historically electable tall good looking white guy who was actually a US citizen?

The one of the many things wrong with Birtherism, JudeBrando, (aside from the complete lack of evidence) is that there was no reason for anyone to go along with a plot that didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding without being discovered, and people were looking.
