Bird Watching gets Disturbing

I am sorry that you aren't seeing jays, we have had a huge crow die out in central illinois but the jays seem to be okay.

They really like peanuts, either in the shell or hulled and in a feeder, good luck!

Voob there are lots of recipes for homemade bird suet, most involve lard and peanut butter.

I live in an olf part of my town so usualy I just get sparrowa, the occasional cardinal and wood dove a,d the junkos. I have a lot of cats that cruise my feeder howver!
And then last week I had a merlin sit by my feeder!(Small falcon)

Hypocolius, I recorded the first Pied Stonechat in Saudi Arabia and discovered the first breeding White-Tailed plovers in the Arabian penninsula. Record breaking is easy in the middle east!

Pied Stonechat are now almost annual in Fujeirah, and I have 15+pairs of White-tailed Plovers at my local patch. Not so easy any more!
