Bigger than Sheen !!!

I like several of Lynch's movies, but I knew right away he was a hopeless nutcase when he broke up with Isabella Rossellini.
 
I hope this won't lead to the perception that David Lynch is a bit loopy.

Sounds like he's talking about Loose Change in this video (but I guess it could just as easily be any of the other internet conspiracy videos)

edit: He doesn't exactly come across as a deep thinker in this interview.
 
a really "way out there" film maker....his only notable "non-too-weird" movie was the Elephant Man...everything else he's done.......eraserhead anyone?

Twin Peaks is about the only thing I liked from him.

Wrong he is. The questions that the Truth Movement has posed have been answered. Truth Movement ignores the fact that every smoking gun has been debunked.

I regained a lot of respect for Pee Wee Herman when he came onto the stage at the Oscars and asked the crowd "Heard any good jokes lately?"
I heard a year or so ago that the Pee Wee's Playhouse shows are now available on DVD. Other than that, don't know what he's "up to."
 
I think that was an MTV award show actually. And Ault Swim plays PeeWee's Playhouse late night's now.

He went back to work pretty much right away. Thankfully, his real-life persona is quite unlike Pee Wee, so often people didn't even realize it was him.
 
David Lynch has been a twoofer for months.

So in other words, the twoofers are just recycling old news.

Sad really.

A) I can actually hear the teenage troofer googling to find out who the ◊◊◊◊ Lynch is.

B) No really it makes sense. The plot of loose change is just about, as implausible, convulated, obtuse, and filled with as many holes and Mullholland drive. Loose Change has 100% less lesbian sex scenes, and doesn't have a weird Parkinson's afflicted Richard Pyror, than Mullholland Drive, so it's a worse film.

Looks fantastic though.

Seriously though it's finally proven what my 2nd year film theory essay concluded. Lynch is a less intelligent filmmaker than he's given credit for. He thinks up weird, implausible themes, and strings them together with an incoherant and rambling narrative. I mean look at the mess that was Dune. The elephant man only works because he needs to adhere to a degree of historical accuracy. Blue Velvet is a mess. Twin Peaks unravels badly, and quickly.
