Bigfoot Follies: part trois

Right, but the guy posting says they are interdimensional, so I don't think a size restriction is too hard for him to overcome.

It's a still image. Is this just one footprint, in isolation? Did Bigfoot fly down, plant one foot in the snow, and then fly off again? Or is this one example in a series of footprints - a walking track? If the latter, a podiatrist can infer a lot about a creature's gait by the pattern of footprints they leave. Heck, last time I bought a pair of shoes they did this in the shop with a simple machine. If the gait is not consistent with that of a living being - if it doesn't have a stride pattern that can be analysed by an expert, that is sufficient evidence to conclude that the print is almost certainly a hoax.

You can't tell a lot from a single print. Do you have a link to the video from which this still image was taken?

The toes of primates splay more, unless they wear shoes for many years.
Dammit. I was going to use my own feet as an example how walking mostly barefoot since my move to the subtropics has indeed caused my feet to widen a little - but you sent me down a “splay foot” rabbit hole and now I’m going shoe shopping.

I’m guessing that you meant (mostly) the toes of non-human primates splay more?
My toes (see avatar) really aren’t much more splayed than the fake footprint above.

Yes, the toes of primates tend to be distinctively spread, with spaces separating them, unlike the drove of snuggling piggies beeath a blanket in the photo. You can see this even in the fossilized footprints of ancient hominids and humans, like those in the White Sands National Park or the Laetoli track ways of Tanzania. The toes of those who wear shoes and clothes touch each other as though they dread the spread.
