The essence of, proper play of and the manner in which to
win any game or contest is contained in its rules. Baseball, basketball, shpoople, drag racing all have very specific rules one must adhere to
in order to win. And if you stray from such rules
for any reason, depending on the severity of the infraction, those same rules dictate you get penalized, disqualified, ejected, rejected and/or otherwise put at some disadvantage of winning. That's the entire premise of having the rules. So that everyone is
playing the same game fairly.
"
Candy's dandy but anarchy's better."
The Melba? She's
not playing the 'real science' game. She's playing some other game. 'The Melba science' game.
They are not the same game. One is documented to have rigid rules and procedures - most of which established many moons ago - that are used in the quest for scientific truth and knowledge. The other is documented to have capricious rules and goals
somebody named Melba has made up as she's gone along. How could she be playing 'real science' when she's not following any of its rules? She's not, of course. It's precisely why I have total faith 'real science' will
win on this one. She's playing a game
she had no business playing.
Sadly for all those lost soul Bigfooters, The Melba knows the con she's pulling. And I dare say for her it's
not even about winning anymore. She's playing 'not to lose' now. She absolutely has to know she's not 'real science', but she also knows DNA is still an obscure enough subject that her being even
fantastically wrong can easily be spun into
undetermined if it's said often enough. Undetermined is 'not losing'. And undetermined lets the monkey live.
Long live Bigfoot errrr I mean The Melba! Hallelujah!
