I think Moneymaker has gotten wind of how much of a joke the evidence is and is distancing himself to save face (and his show) when the bigfoot poo hits the fan.

He might even be smart enough to know that there is no bigfoot, therefore knowing that there cannot be any DNA evidence, and is trying to save face (and "expedition" $$$$$)

The popcorn industry is issuing rosy projections, as the Bigfoot DNA wars escalate. Robert Lindsay has a new post which offends almost everyone, but unfortunately also demonstrates he doesn't know much about the primary subject of all this, the DNA. Possibly unrelated, but here is how poachers tend to work. They drive the roads, sometimes at night with spotlights, looking for a quick strike. They shoot whatever pops up, regardless of time of year, sex, age, size, etc, and as many as they can. They then take whatever valuable parts/cuts (tenderloin for sure) they can readily get and then they scram.

Unethical hunters are more impulse driven: they may not plan to break the law, until they are tempted. When they do, they may get serious negative feedback from their hunting pals; one reason (besides basic ethics): in some states, if you have illegal game in your vehicle, the vehicle itself can be impounded or even confiscated. Likewise your weapons. Even if you say you didn't shoot the animal. I could envision a situation where an unethical hunter might have to come back later in his own vehicle if he wanted the meat.

Just sayin.

This is the fun of bigfootery, because, Moneymaker is not popular, he's NOT a lawyer and he's been less than nice to more than a few and has been at least on the periphery of a hoax or two, among other things.... but Lidsay is a Biscardi supporter, hoaxer is as hoaxer does. Personally, I just keep wondering how long Hermson will keep being a sucker. I think that is why they keep the "project" open. Yeah, send us in your "unknown" samples and we'll test it for free. Free meaning Wally pays, and we still get paid. Sounds about right to me. They may not even GAF about the results. Just keep pulling the string until it runs out.
