Big ghost orbs flying around Winston on video! (irrefutable!)

Here is an image I snapped of my son manifesting an apparition. By the shape and eratic movements of the orb, I was able to determine that it is clearly the spirit of former Yippie leader Abbie Hoffman. I used to be a skeptic regarding these matters, but no longer. I have been convinced both by this photo and by my son's other paranormal abilities: he can manifest copious quantities of ectoplasm from his nose and mouth (as well as from elsewhere).

I found this while cleaning out my basement. Draw your own conclusions. :p

The Hexlette usually manifests ectoplasm from her nose while I'm driving her to daycare. I had to buy special ectoplasm absorbent tissues and since she's facing backwards in the backseat, I have to RV her to know where to wipe while trying to stay on the road.

Thanks!

By the way, using Kirlian photography techniques, I was able to better resolve the spirit being manifested, and to verify its identity. I was right:

Hey! It's irrefutable! Pay attention, ok?

You're wasting your time trying to refute what has been clearly identified as irrefutable.

<s>This post is unquotable and irreplyable.</s>
Your logic cannot defeat my out-of-context quoting capabilities.

Made a couple of experiments in my basement last night.

The picture files are rather big to preserve details, so if you have a slow connection, you might not wanna look ;).

First a reference shot of the scene:

Reference shot

Now, within a few seconds, using proper rituals, I summoned several orbs (and the camara decided to focus on the lamp, so the background is a bit fuzzy  ):

Here there be orbs!

I have put red circles around the ones I could immidiately spot, but there may be more. Note the different sizes and structures.

Hans :D

Heheh.

I also tried for some nice ectoplasma shots, but they did not turn out good enough for publishing. However, stay tuned ;).

How did you manifest this ectoplasm?

Wait! I don't want to know!

Hehehe. Well, the funny thing is, last time I tried to make an orb photo, I happened to get this "ectoplasm" on the picture instead. At least it was just like what they call ectoplasm on some of those woowoo sites. So this time, the orbs worked out, but I couldn't get the ectoplasm thingy clear enough.

You also don't wanna know how I made the orbs ;).

How is a simple claim that a camera picked up some orbs "irrefutable!" when you can't provide the images?

For that matter, even if you could, it still would not be "irrefutable!" proof of anything, orbs can be produced in any number of ways.

W: I already told you, I could make digital stills of that video, but they wouldn't be anywhere as cool as seeing them move around in the video! There were hundreds of them. One circled my head too! And one hovered above us while pulsating! I was so stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to see it, you can mail me a blank VHS tape. It's probably the best orb video ever! You can see lots of them during the 2 hour session!!!!!!

Using a digital camera? Set it so that the "redeye" light turns on. A little smoke in front of the camera just before you press the shutter..."redeye" light illuminates the smoke...flash captures the rest...you should get a nice ectoplasm shot.

Winston, you ARE a gullible nitwit, aren't you!

1. You did not say that anyone actually saw any orbs by eye.

W: We didn't see the orbs by the naked eye that time. But during the previous session, the other people saw orbs with their eyes many times, but didn't get anything on tape. This time, it was the opposite though. No one saw orbs but the camera picked up a lot, you could see one almost every minute. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a digital still of the session. You can see me on the far right, and my best friend next to me.

(Note: The file was rejected for being too big! Maybe I can send it to one of you? You guys seem to not have a problem with putting photos in here, but I do.)

There is a 25400-byte limit on the size of image attachments uploaded from your computer, the same for you as for everybody else. Make it smaller, or try hosting it on a different site and linking to it in your post.

They don't fit any of the traditional descriptions of ghosts. You know, moaning, rattling chains, that stuff. :D

That sounds more like my car making its noises. :)

Did you, or did you not, see them yourself LIVE with your own eyes? That is, not on the video? Or was it only when you saw the video that the orbs became visible?

Additional question (I know you don't like to answer these):

How long after when the video was actually shot did you get to view it?

Describe the location of the actual shoot. Outdoors? At night? In a forest? In a building? On top of Mt Hood? Cold? Warm? You tell it...

Mmm, I don't smoke ;). No, the smoke kind is sorta old hat. I'm talking about the ones where you have a clear irregulat light patch apparantly floating in the background. But yes, you can use the redeye led (or a flashlight) to preview it.

To Winston (not that I expect you to take notice): Orbs are small objects caught in the light near the camara lens, out of focus. They can be dust particles, water drops, small insects. You can also SEE orbs, if such particles are caught in a stong light near YOUR eye, since your eye is built much like a camara.

You told us yourself that this was a multi camara event, but the camaras did not catch the same orbs, now did they? They did not because each camara "sees" particles near its own lens.

I know logic is not your strong side, but do try.

You can generate your own orb vision:

- Take a piece of aluminum foil, and prick a few small holes in it with a pin.

- Now sit in front of a light source, preferably a window with daylight.

- Hold the foil in front of you so you can see the light coming through the pinholes.

- Now move the foil really close to your face (to within an inch). Presto! You now see orbs.

- Try half-close your eyes, and see them change shape. Close each eye alternatively and see how each eye sees only the nearest holes.

- Think about this.

Email it to me at webmaster@skepticreport.com and I'll put it up.

If you can make digital stills, then you can make a small movie, e.g. AVI or MPG. I'll host that too, though it will have to be FTP'd.

Hey Winston! If you take up Claus's offer of hosting your pics and videos then I don't want to hear any more griping here about skeptics automatically having a downer on you and having closed minds, OK? What could be more supportive and open-minded than hosting YOUR pics and videos!

Oh, and I'll bet Victor Zammit doesn't offer to do any hosting for you. You do know that he references your essay merely and only because it disagrees with skeptics, who he thinks are the spawn of Satan??? You do know the saying: The enemy of my enemy is my friend? :)

Sorry Hans, this is wrong on several levels.

First of all, the term tinfoil is to be taken literally. It is a mistake to take the more modern aluminium foil to be equivalent.

Second of all, rather than going through the rigmarole you describe, the tinfoil is to be worn on the head as a hat.

Then you will have seen orbs.
