She was politically savvy.
She was a shatterer of a glass ceiling we haven't broken in the U.S. yet.
She represented hope in a nuclear armed country 10 times as dangerous as Iran.

My heart is breaking on so many levels to see the news today.

yes...its a huge challange to rule of law when political assasinations happen. She was a much loved figure among many, lets hope this thing doesn't blow up worse still....

Now the Devil gets to take me over for a minute..... She was a politician who knew the risks, and took them. Personally, I care very little about her on a personal level as my own readings of the corruption charges lead me to the personal conclusion that she was ok with robbing her own people. Flaws aside she was a great figure in history and I hope her murder isn't the opening sentence of another long dark chapter in the regions History.

I hope they find who did it and I hope they get what they deserve, I truly detest political assasination. They are the cowardly act of those that cannot succeed in politics by using Ideas...but instead reach for a club.
