Being Black While Kissing Your White Wife

Exactly. Family photos. Him and his wife and (shudder) mixed race kids...that no one is mentioning? Just the come-hither pic at issue.

How do you explain no issues with wife and kid pics if the issue is racial? Wouldn't racists be flipping their Klan hoods over those pics?

Did you bother to actually READ the article the OP linked?

"Some of the photos the district received contained poses that are questionable for an educator, especially a principal or administrator."

So, where are they?

Your problem Thermal is that for you, racism as the reason behind all the "while black" incidents is always the absolute last thing you will admit. You are an excuse-maker, you try yo come up with every unlikely thing you can imagine or pull out of left field - anything but racism. You almost always totally ignore the context and go looking for other reasons.

The context here is that this is Texas, the very heart of right wing, white supremacist America. Racism being the cause of racist acts ought to be the very first port of call, not the very last!

Then I would guess you are a gentleman of a certain age. I'm still pre-Viagra and I know hotness when I sees it. ;)

Eta: what do you say to an avatar bet that there are other pics showing him and his wife that no one is taking issue with, just the sexy one?

this is the debate...

(note, not actually thermal, but the debate reminded me of this)

For a person who disputed that there was more than one photo in question, and even said that I "insisted" upon such, this is pretty ironic. Like, where was the reading part before, lol?

And, obviously, one would expect any additional questionable photos to be culled by now.

Jesus Christ on a ******* Pogo Stick - what is it going to take!?

You said "So, I'm just wondering if there were some other photos that were of a more inappropriate nature?"

You are the one who is implying that there might be other photos at issue!

I am the one who disagrees with you. THAT is why I posted his Facebook photo link - an invitation for you and your pal Thermal to go find them and support your claim!

And, obviously, one would expect any additional questionable photos to be culled by now.

Except, he refuses to take them down... oops!

You just quoted the school district as stating there was more than one photo in question. What are you even talking about?

And you know this whole event was from 2019, right? And yet you are still asking where any questionable photos might have went?

I don't gamble, but here are his Facebook photos...

Lose.

The photo from the article isn't there, because it and presumably the others, have been taken down.

As always, you're drawing conclusions from inadequate evidence.

Warp 12 has been trying to point out that there is more than one photo considered questionable, and they are clearly not showing in his feed.

The guy himself does say:

I wish I had the conviction to say, 'No, I'm not going to take it down

That blatantly states the photos have been removed. The current Farcebook album has no relevance whatsoever.

It is for me. Good looking shirtless guy leaning into his hot wife with a come hither look all over his face. I still have wood.

Get real man. That's no peck on the cheek pose. I'd title it "Let the games commence".

Wanna bet he has other pics of him and his bride on their FB that no one's taking issue with?

Yeah, "Honey, I'm home" it is not. That's very much "The kids are staying with Granny, let's get it on!"

I do find it amusing the lengths some people will go to to be able to scream "RACISM!" in their best fishwife voice.

Even in Texas, I don't believe administrators are backward enough to take issue with mixed race relationships.

And you know this whole event was from 2019, right?

You realise this statement from the Independent School District was made this past Monday, 2 August 2021, right?

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD issued the following statement Monday.

"When a social media concern is brought to the attention of the district, we have a responsibility to review it. Some of the photos the district received contained poses that are questionable for an educator, especially a principal or administrator. It had absolutely nothing to do with race. As a new campus principal, we wanted to provide a smooth transition for Dr. Whitfield to Heritage Middle School, which is why we advised him of the concern and made a request for the photos to be taken down from Facebook."

I didn't realize the photos were on his own FB page until I read most of the thread.

People need to mind their own business, what the ever lovin' hell? In Texas, a depiction of love is harmful but walking around armed with a gun is a good idea. Got it, very good to know.

That you are wilfully blind to reality isn't my problem!

THIS!

Honestly, that guy is too hot for me to accurately judge the level of sensuality conveyed by the photo. I could watch him wind a watch, and it would still seem a bit sultry somehow. That's a me issue, though!

Seriously, when a black man kissing a white woman is considered "inappropriate" and "offensive", in a country that has deep racial divisions and a serious problem with ingrained, systemic racism, and in the state of that country that is the absolute epicentre of right wing, white supremacist America, Ockham's Razor holds that the most likely reason for the offence is racism on the part of the offended.

Even in Texas, I don't believe administrators are backward enough to take issue with mixed race relationships.

Then you are naive, ill-informed, and you've never heard of Louie Gohmert.

...and when you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail!

To be honest I think it might be more the principle is in a photo which looks like a cheesey sleazeyde-oderant ad more than racism.

It might be helpful in trying to determine if the complaint is or is not racially motivated if we could see the Facebook pages of other Texas school officials, including teachers but especially principals and administrators.

If some of those pages contain images of a school official on the verge of kissing or hugging or touching a loved one in a way which might be viewed as erotic, and no one has asked them to take the pictures down, that would be an indication this complaint was racially motivated.

If, on the other hand, no other school official in Texas has any image on their Facebook or other social media pages which could be seen as comparable to the picture (or pictures) which people are upset about seeing on Whitfield's page, that would lend credibility to the claim that the pictures were viewed as inappropriate for reasons other than racial ones.

I have no idea what the other school officials' Facebook pages look like, and have no idea how we'd get access to them. But perhaps one of the Texas newspapers, tv stations or radio stations could have one of their investigative reporters work on getting access to and examining the pages and reporting on what they do or don't find.

I thought it looked a bit like a still from a commercial. Now I'm thinking Summer's Eve.
