A Black man punched an Asian woman over 120 times, head stomped her 7 times and spit on her multiple times while calling her an Asian bitch. The attack happened in the lobby of her apartment building as she was trying to enter.

In this oppressed man's defense, there were words exchanged between the two outside of the building before they entered the camera frame. She possibly could have said something he found offensive so she probably deserved it.

The victim suffered from bleeding of the brain, facial fractures and multiple lacerations on her head and face.

You may want to scroll down past the video in the link if you don't do well with seeing a woman get sucker punched in the head from behind by a Black man who is probably double her weight.

Also, as always the point is being missed.

The event that happened was tragic and the perpetrator is a horrible human being.

But the system worked. The attack happened on Friday. The perpetrator is already under arrest and charged. Nobody is offering any narrative that this sequence of events is not how it should have happened.

What exactly the racist expects us to do with the bloody shirt he is waving around is lost on me and I already know will not be explained.
 
Anti-Asian hate crimes is a taboo subject now that Trump is out of office? I must have missed the memo.

Hey, maybe she asked him to beat the living daylights out of her! Maybe she even paid him! There are places where you can get that service for a fee! I can make silly speculations too!

I wouldn't characterize what Bogative wrote as "silly speculation". Such justifications for assault (name calling) are being used regularly...typically when a black person violently assaults someone who isn't a person of color.

It is refreshing to see a hate crime charge in this case. You rarely see such a thing when it comes to blacks, even in obvious cases. It isn't a popular narrative.

In Shemp's defense, he could've missed the similarly titled thread in which exactly what you describe is happening. That racist white man kinda deserved to be beaten to death because he used an offensive word.

There is a YouTube and Facebook channel called "bad lip reading." I've thought about doing something similar here on the ISF called "bad mind reading" because y'all really suck at it.

Didn't agree with punching the racist either but I only said it's an understandable crime of passion.

If you don't wish to be judged by your words, learn to pick them more wisely. No mind reading is required to gauge your sympathies.

In general the "Doing X while being Y" threads are intended to give the liberals around here a chance to virtue signal by immediately assuming that whoever is higher up on the victimhood pyramid must be in the right. When the situation involves an Asian woman and a black man, they are flummoxed, although sometimes they remember to mention that hate crimes against Asians surged because of Trump calling it the Wuhan Flu. Because contra Joe Biden, there are a lot of Black men who voted for Trump.

If it turns out that this lady initiated a verbal confrontation, say, by twice calling this guy a racial slur, would this case also be an "understandable" crime of passion? "Understandable" sounds a lot like apologism, to me. At some point we need to stop making excuses for violent behavior. It is a lot easier to do when the assault isn't caught on video, I suppose.

This is why I am happy there is a hate come charge in this case. I believe that authorities are generally less likely to bring such charges when the perpetrator is a minority.

This incident happened not far from where I live. In fact, at first my wife thought she knew the woman who was beaten (that turned out not to be the case). People in the community where this attack took place -- southwest Yonkers -- have emphasized there seems to be a mental illness issue involved. About four years ago the attacker made threats of violence against Bank of America officials whom he claimed had stolen money from his bank account. I don't think there was any action taken against him in that instance.
