Be careful with that CFL

I think I'm just going to convert my house back to gas lights, and not worry about all these different light bulb technologies. The gas lines are all still in place. I just need to find some fixtures. . .

I wonder if they're shut off at the connect point in the basement, too. If they are, turning back on a bunch of pipes in your walls that haven't had gas in them for eighty years could provide for some interesting living.

They're disconnected in the basement, open to the air. Yes, I know they're likely not sound, but I can always dream.

Speaking of which, in order to avoid the dim, yellow light and the soot from traditional gas lighting, I'm going to use hydrogen.
