Bannon may really be getting fired

Guy on ABC news this morning, regarding Bannon's departure, my bold:
"...nearly All The President's original Men are now gone."
I suspect that's not an accident, and I like it a lot.

What really bothers me is what Bannon can do now with all the confidential information he had access to in the White House.

There are some constraints on him since he had top secret clearance.

Trump could fire legally fire Sessions....all cabinent officers "serve at the President's pleasure"...but the political blowback would be huge, and the new attorney general would have to ceonfirmed.

Only if he gives a **** about the consequences and/or there are any negative consequences :mad:

If he knows that President Trump will give him a pass because he's working to further Trump's agenda then maybe he'll use that information as he wants (for example to blackmail GOP waverers into voting in favour of President Trump's plans

He'll need to do a Jedi hand wave, though, to make his minions forget that he called them "clowns" and "losers". His stated intention to "crush" them will presumably be put on hold, now that he needs his old job back.

I'm not sure that Bannon will be the force he was before he went to the White House. He'll always have a core of drones following him but he choked. He won the White House for his causes and then he lost it. Nothing succeeds like success and he failed. I'm not sure he can now go be a driving force in Republican politics by playing the sour grapes card.

We can hope... and there are now a lot of former fellow travellers of Trump who he's insulted and marginalised.

Several with egos almost as fragile as Trump's.

His image has been compromised, no question. To what extent, I'm not sure.

I'm shocked Dolt45 cut Bannon loose. I thought there wasn't anyway he'd risk alienating his bedrock constituency.
