There isn't one now. If he hadn't been a craven little lick-spittle and tried to publicly make amends he could have carved out an audience of anti Trump conservatives and disillusioned Trump voters for another media venture. Walking back his comments on Trump Jr and regretting he didn't respond sooner pretty much kills that. He should have gone all in with his falling out with Trump. People would have loved to watch a Trump vs Bannon War, but a Bannon showing his belly and begging to be taken back like a jilted lover, not so much. It's amusing for now but it's got no legs.

It's astounding how Trump just breaks some of his opponents. Just recently Bannon still seemed like a force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile Trump makes mistakes every week that would just destroy any normal politician's career and somehow keeps lumbering along.

I don't see Bannon as broken by Donny. I do see him tripping badly over his own inadequacies. Donny lumbers on because others find it profitable for them to let him do so. When his worth runs out, he will be discarded.

I'm always amused about the shot from a couple weeks ago, where The PDJT, Melania, and Barron arrive for (or from) some function. Barron is wearing a t-shirt that says "THE EXPERT". I love that he probably stood up to his dad for his right to wear it. Kudos, kid.
 
When Trump hired Bannon all I could do is :jaw-dropp :confused: :mad: Red flag with "WTF?" stenciled on it.

I thought Bannon was fired from Breitbart awhile ago? Guess not.
 
Bannon was as close an Intellectual Leader of the Trump movement as possible to have when there is no intelligence in the Leader himself or his cadre.

He left Breitbart to work for trump then went back when he parted with trump.

Have I ever mentioned that shortly after breitbart died I sat next to his widow at the wedding of the current breitbart editor-in-chief's wedding.
My wife and his were cowokers and classmates at UC Berkeley. According to my wife both Marlow and his wife have gotten more and more conservative over the years. The wife's parents are apparently pretty committed lefties, it must drive them nuts. Side note, full Catholic wedding but the wife wore a dress that was cut so low in the back you could practically see her ass. Brietbart had only recently died so I pretty much avoided politics. Seemed like a nice enough lady.


Really has no bearing on the conversation but I like to tell the story to anyone that will listen when the subject of Brietbart comes up.
Edit I probably met Bannon but I hadn't heard of him at the time. My wife didn't even know who or what breitbart was until I told her, she just knew that Marlow worked for some website.
