I've had a lot of bad experiences with BoA.. they're great scam artists..The amount of money they're ok with taking you for is obscene.. It would BLOW to be one of their customer service reps..
Eh, I've worked graveyard shift for a decade now...there's rarely a line when I go to the bank . And the $3 fee for a cashier's check is much more palatable than a $35 overdraft fee + bounced check...
Some banks I've used didn't charge me for the Cashier's Check (most of the tellers knew me from my regular visits for the Cashier's Check )...
I bank with Chase and my money orders/cashier's checks are free. But I also work for Chase, so that might be why - the amount of asinine fees banks charge for services is ridiculous. When I learned of all of them upon setting up the account I knew I'd immediately close my account and go to a credit union when I quit (or got fired) and lost the priveleges.
