Okay some people have said that mr randi claims there is no contract with yellow bamboo- we have never heard this but many people have asked for a copy of the contract. We tried to attach a photo of it but there is an error message sying its too big will someone pls email me at yellowbamboo.com and ill email it to them? . The signatory page with randi notarized and the waiver of liability which states the conditions of the test.

Also see some commentary based on randi latest web site.
Mr Randi has said if we pay his costs and he has the time he will come to bali to do the test.

Hi Mr Randi,

I read with interest your latest webpage and have some commentary. I mean no frivolous and nasty comments here as I truly believe you are an honest person looking for the truth.

A) I must compliment you as a word master and showman- you are writing a very compelling story and people follow it with interest and since it is your page you ahve every right to show your own case in the best light. I really admire you and look forward to meeting you personally in florida. The funny thing is I think we would really like each other :-)

I put my personal bio below.

To quote your website

"First, no continuous videotape record was made, as I'd clearly required."

There is no mention of this in the contract.

"Without that, there is only evidence that Mr. Tri fell down, but no indication of how or why. Second, Joko did not walk up to Serengen and "gently tap him with a piece of bamboo," as I'd specified, and YB had agreed to, but charged at him full tilt, with a huge bamboo pole — which he'd supplied himself, he told me."

*But what about the journalist witness?* Also you have no way to know jokos intention what if he was going fast to scare mr serengen then intended to slow down?

"There were people close enough to touch Joko as he ran forward, in fact there was quite a crowd involved."

I am sorry but there were only a few 2-3 people at most involved which no way constitutes a crowd.

Also the journalist who is shown clearly in the video- was only a few meters away- he surely would have seen and reported and tomfoolery- the journalist
was close enough to see anything that would have happened.

"The demo took place when it was very dark, giving much different conditions for viewing than there would have been at ten in the morning, as YB had previously agreed to do."

The contract states no where the time or place of the attack.

But let us say you are right:

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

A) Say Joko was running full tilt to hit mr serengen-
Does the fact that the attacker is running towards mr serengen
with the intent to hit him hard with a large piece of bamboo
in some way mean the powers are not true.

Or are you saying that if you run fast at someone
with a piece of big bamboo and they knock you down
this is somehow normal and everyone can do it?

I am *not* trying to be a wise a** about this I am only
trying to understand your viewpoint.

From my point of view if someone is running at the defender
fast with a big stick and trying to hurt them and they get knocked
down with the chi power of the defender then it qualifies
as a demonstration of supernatural power- NO?

Furthermore our lawyer has reviewed all the documents which include our signed and notarized agreement. His opinion is that we have fulfilled all aspects of the contract to become claimant.

Any communication between ourselves and you and joko and you which were done by
email by florida law are not included in the agreement.

That is to say, the only binding legal agreement is the contract and anything
else outside of the contract is irrelevent to the contract.

The only thing which matters is what is in the written agreement that includes
the entirety of the agreement.

For example the agreement says

"Any applicant who refuses to agree to meet the rules as outlined here, will
not be considered to have ever been a claimant. Only complete agreement with
these rules will constitute the "applicant" being considered a "claimant."
Applicant, by signing, notarizing and returning this form, signifies agreement
with all of the above rules. "

It says the "rules as outlined here" and does not "say the rules as outlined
here and elsewhere in any additional correspondence etc"

B) Having said that if you were to come here or serengen to go to florida
would you look at it as the final test which ensues payment or would there have
to be two tests, say done on the same day etc?

Please clarify.

Kind Regards,

Dr Alvin G Donovan III

I don't know what you mean by "Contract", but in his Oct 3rd Commentary Randi states that there's agreement on the protocol by both parts.

Our involvement with the Yellow Bamboo group, in Bali, Indonesia, began on June 28th, 2003, when we actually received their application. We'd been trying to get them to fulfill the application requirements since December of 2002, a full seven months of back-and-forth messaging. The protocol they finally agreed to needed small adjustments, which were made.
(emphasis mine)

"First, no continuous videotape record was made, as I'd clearly required."

There is no mention of this in the contract.

So you took a crappy video for what purpose, exactly?

"Without that, there is only evidence that Mr. Tri fell down, but no indication of how or why. Second, Joko did not walk up to Serengen and "gently tap him with a piece of bamboo," as I'd specified, and YB had agreed to, but charged at him full tilt, with a huge bamboo pole — which he'd supplied himself, he told me."

What about him? Joko failed to follow protocol. Next time, get it right.

"There were people close enough to touch Joko as he ran forward, in fact there was quite a crowd involved."

I am sorry but there were only a few 2-3 people at most involved which no way constitutes a crowd.

We only saw that many on tape. Also, it only takes one person extra to obscure the test. You fail protocol again.

Also the journalist who is shown clearly in the video- was only a few meters away- he surely would have seen and reported and tomfoolery- the journalist
was close enough to see anything that would have happened.

Unless he's a liar, paid or coerced into silence.

"The demo took place when it was very dark, giving much different conditions for viewing than there would have been at ten in the morning, as YB had previously agreed to do."

The contract states no where the time or place of the attack.

So you decided to use crappy taping method in the dark for what purpose?

But let us say you are right:

He is.

Does the fact that the attacker is running towards mr serengen

No person is making that claim. It does, however, violate protocol and makes it very hard to see whether or not you people cheated. I'm pretty sure you did.

Or are you saying that if you run fast at someone
with a piece of big bamboo and they knock you down
this is somehow normal and everyone can do it?

In the dark, anything can have happened, we just don't know. It's safe to assume that you cheated over having superpowers.

I am *not* trying to be a wise a** about this I am only
trying to understand your viewpoint.

You're not wise enough to be a wise arse.

From my point of view if someone is running at the defender
fast with a big stick and trying to hurt them and they get knocked
down with the chi power of the defender then it qualifies
as a demonstration of supernatural power- NO?

We can't know if only chi power was being used because it was dark and other people were around to knock the person down as well.

Furthermore our lawyer has reviewed all the documents which include our signed and notarized agreement. His opinion is that we have fulfilled all aspects of the contract to become claimant.

Of course, your lawyer is paid by you.

Any communication between ourselves and you and joko and you which were done by
email by florida law are not included in the agreement.

So, you ignored protocols because they were in email format, even though you agreed with email? Sounds very dishonest to me.

That is to say, the only binding legal agreement is the contract and anything
else outside of the contract is irrelevent to the contract.

So, instead of showing people your superpowers and science, you want to use the "law" to prove that you have superpowers. Now THAT'S the act of a coward.

B) Having said that if you were to come here or serengen to go to florida
would you look at it as the final test which ensues payment or would there have

Because of your failure to demonstrate, with any amount of reliability, your superpowers, I don't think you'll get that chance.

Now, why don't you e-mail Randi.

LOL. This is hilarious, since Randi did not send Joko as an official JREF representative, there is no case here. Do you think the JREF will actually count this crappy tape that was shot in the dark as passing? This shows that the Yellow Bamboozlers don't have superpowers and are hard trying to scam a million bucks while keeping their cult deluded.

Scam a million bucks, not a ghost of a chance. Throw mud at the JREF, I'll grant you they may have some effect in that department, but not a lot, and that's all.

Rolfe.

No kidding.

Though actually, I think they may be more after the publicity associated with their Pigasus efforts than any realistic hope of winning the prize.

Is yellowbamboo living in Australia?

Not that I'm aware of. I was simply pointing out that the term is in commonly usage among Pacific Islanders - pretty much like "mate" is used by Australians - and that nothing "odd" can be inferred from its use.

If I had superpowers, like the Yellow Bamboozlers claim, I'd be UFC, Pride and K-1 Champion AND I'd take the JREF million. I certainly would make sure that everyone could see the superpower, if i'm going to claim taht I have it. For some reason, such superpowers evade good video-documentation and tests.
