Back into the gutter at TAM8

I'm in for bowling, and Robert will lead the cheerleading squad. As we may be attending the Thomsoni show, we probably will not arrive at the bowling alley until after 9:30. I need someone to absorb me into their team, please. I used to do league bowling and had several lessons . . . when I was 20-something. I could probably count on one hand how many times I've been bowling in the last 25-30 years. Don't expect me to be a "ringer."

I've just checked what I signed up for (nearly everything, it appears), and I'll be at the Great Thomsoni show too, so I'll be a late joiner, and looking for a team that needs a handicap. :) (I have bowled a few times, but never seriously; I generally score around 100.)

Looks like I may have to duck out, as the Great Thomsoni show now doesn't start until 9pm.

Where did I get the idea Thomsoni was from 8 - 9:30? Check that then! I'm bowling with my friends! Socializing with this bunch is the best part of TAM! Count me in, Hutch. Robert and I will be there right on time.

I have to work the Thomsoni show, but I will put in an appearance at the bowling alley afterward. I cannot really bowl at this time, due to my hip problems, but I will be happy to socialize, cheer, and maybe have a drink.

I am assuming if I throw my $10 for JREF I can just be social in the lane area??

Regards, Kitt

I'll be going to the bowling alley after the Tomsoni show at ~10:30. If others show up at that time we can maybe get a game together then.

I know I'm on a team, I just don't know which. I had been on CPP's team, but she decided that injury was preferable to that ignominy.

That means you're on my team too, kmortis!

And I think we had somebody named Chris, but not the Chris from Australia (I don't think), but somebody else...

I should point out that there's some sort of grudge match between hcmom and me related to bowling, but I don't know what the stakes are, if there are any.

Ahh good. I thought that was the case, but I couldn't recall for sure.

What grudge? My team is going to win, why would we hold a grudge? :halo:

Thanks for putting that together, Hutch. Did we manage to raise a little jingle for JREF?

Gee... I don't want to brag or anything, but it was a back-to-back for me...

I think Hal said we made $350 for JREF.

Sounds right. We blew the doors off the poker tourney donation. And congratulations to Phyz, who I believe won the men's title this year. grumble grumble grumble

Yeah, I bowl about one time a year between TAMs, that makes ALL the difference!
