Oh for the love of...

The Libs and Nats are voting in favour of Pauline Hanson's motion to object to Critical Race Theory in the national curriculum.

ETA: Mehreen Faruqi has some choice words to say about that.

Oh to be a reporter and ask one of these dolts if they support the study of systemic racism in societies as a suitable subject in schools and universities. More than likely they will be in favour, or at least have no objections.

Then ask them if they support Critical Race Theory. Likely howls of outrage!

Then point out these are one and the same...

What a joke that Labor has an unelectable leader. Step up Tanya.

My level of frustration is just about off the scale. We have in my view the worst PM ever and he will win, because country town mayor Albo will probably lose seats.

Can anyone present a scenario where Labor wins the next election?

Yes, I've presented it before. Albo steps down "to spend more time with his family" and Plibersek is made leader. This is such a good idea that Labor will never do it.

Barnaby Joyce makes a return to Cabinet...

After Julia Gillard's poor showing with the voters I suspect that Labor might not be willing to repeat the experiment and Tanya might meet the same fate as Julie Bishop if she tried.

It's a pity. Julia Gillard was actually quite an effective PM despite being ham strung by a hostile Senate.

Eight years is a long time. If Labor makes a concerted and public effort to address the toxic culture of politics, that could go a very long way.

Agreed.
