Australian Olympic swimmers ordered to take down gun photo.

Yobbo = bogan = dumb, offensive, useless, blithering moron.

It is an overreaction, but D'Arcy has a tainted image and this really isn't the best look for the Olympic team.

Now, Australia doesn't have an "irrational fear of guns" but we do have very strict gun regulation, and I think we're better for it. It's not like we all have a conniption at the sight of a revolver, but this sort of thing isn't a great front for someone with D'Arcy's history.

And yes, in future, avoid the Herald Sun for the sake of your neurons.

Curious. Did these sensitive souls at the swimming organization tell Thorpe that he couldn't be the Thorpedo? Isn't that even worse than a mere gun - it's a WMD. Or were they too busy not worrying about him doping to not worry about the oh-so-important image of Swim Australia?
