Atheists attacking Billy Ray Cyrus

The claim will be sufficient now that it's "out there". Years from now people will cite "the Cyrus Incident" as yet another way atheists have attacked believers.

Then I have to agree with Lisa: We must do better. If we are to be credited with attacks anyway, let's make some that hurt.

WE ALL WEAR MULLET WIGS AND SWEEP UP THE STREETS IN DOWNTOWN LA!!!! Bring the pain, bring the pain, fellow satanic atheists.

I'm wondering if he's now going to blame Travis Tritt for unleashing such horrors upon his family. Considering they had a serious cat fight going on for some time, with Billy Ray declaring that Tritt had a "personal problem," it wouldn't surprise me.

Then again, neither one has any talent, so that could wind up a wash.

In the meantime, I'm going to throw on some Reba and try to forget about this whole thing, even as I'm plotting my next attack on humanity, the resurgence of Barry Manilow's musical career! (Muahahahahahahahahahaha!)

YOU WILL ALL BOW DOWN BEFORE ME!!!!

Mr. Manilow is an atheist so he is immune to your attacks on crappy over-the-hill musicians with juvenile love songs. Only Billy gets the glow of the death ray; Barry gets a pass. :p

Oh wait, he's on our side. So we can use him for evil. :D

You are a sick and twisted individual for posting that.

MWAHAHAHA! :D

You know, until this whole Miley Cyrus thing, I never had much against Billy Ray, really. I thought his mullet was icky, but thought "Achy Breaky" had a certain catchiness to it and I enjoyed trying to learn the steps to the dance. (But then I'll do the "Cotton-Eyed Joe" for hours." Here's the dance - best done in a huge crowd with plenty of beer and margaritas: )

But this "Satan is stalking me thing" is just completely bonkers.

p.s. Here are some people learning the "Cotton-Eyed Joe" with instructions in French - wonderful to see culture spreading around the world.

The honest truth is it's not that bad. It's actually rather catchy. The reason I (and I suspect so many others) hate it is that when it came out radio stations seemed to be under the impression that it was the ONLY song in all of existence, and would play it all day every day until long after my brain melted away in achey-breaky agony. I still bear the mental scars from that dark time, and so now I can never listen to the song again without remembering that pain.

You have a radio with no "off" button?
