It's sad that some people see people who simply have different views to be a threat to them. It doesn't seem to occur to him how intolerant he sounds, to him, people who don't believe in his god (or any other) are actually something evil.
 
To be entirely fair to him, he probably is right that the show had a negative impact on his family. He probably is right in blaming it for their unhappiness.

His words about the show are powerful and ring true. It is believable that his daughter's success came at a very high price.

However, it is hard to see what Satan had to do with it. The Lord of the Underworld brought an 11-year-old to Los Angeles to be in a TV show? Uhm, that was you. You and Disney.

And the Devil should be insulted that you compared him to Disney. :D

Though Satan is an extremely powerful invisible guy with nearly limitless magical powers, he prefers to use freeway signs to alert Christians he is attacking them.

They do need a sign to let them know they're being attacked. How else would they know?

Yeah, a creepy factor of about 7-8/10 on this picture. It gives me the same vibe i get watching married with children, when bud and kelly or kelly and al are hanging off each other/sitting way too close for being family. But the key difference is they are actors ( and to a lesser extent, it is done due to the set design , and proper cheating toward the camera. ).

If someone asked me to pose this way with a cousin, let alone a daughter i would be giving a pretty emphatic " How about we do a different picture?" , and if that didn't work possibly comment on the photographers reasons for wanting a picture of that nature.
 
I don't see anything weird or creepy about that picture. She's leaning on his leg and he's got one arm over her shoulder holding her hand. Anything suggestive there is entirely in the viewer's mind, in my opinion.

Now, the Jodie Foster-alike picture of her semi-naked while underage, on the other hand, is something that he shouldn't have condoned, had he truly been worried about her being corrupted by the forces of Satan.

For the record, I think the hoo-ha about the "lap-dance" video in MattusMaximus' link is way overblown, too.

There's no doubt that she's experimenting with drugs and sexuality, but there's also no doubt that the press are having a whale of a time wagging a disapproving finger with one hand and counting the cash with the other. Is Miley Cyrus really the only teenager in Hollywood taking drugs and semi-naked pictures of herself on her phone (or not, if those really are fakes, as some sites allege)? I just can't muster the energy to be outraged at a teenager acting like a teenager.

I'd complain about you giving me the earworm, except that I'm watching a show on MTV about one-hit wonders of the 80s, and that's completing driving the Billy Ray out of my mind. :D
