Dang nab it, that's what I get for living under a bridge.

So RW is still milking her hate mail (or others are doing it for her). A straw man and false dichotomy to boot.
Watson. If you really wanted to further skepticism and critical thinking you would stop picking at the scab.
Dawkins has class and has moved on. Watson is clinging to her 15 minutes. She relishes this.
given their historical inability to deal with trolls. id say that an online conference could go very badly indeed.
maybe thats the plan.
It doesn't seem they've thought this out well, given that their demonstrated ability to deal with trolls is essentially nil and the very nature of online conferences lends itself so very well to trolling.
The Q&A sessions could be mind-blowing.
chemgeek said:Using the phrase "screeching and shouting" is a sexist dogwhistle. A predominantly male group of protesters protesting something not gender-charged would not have their protest shouts and chants called "screeching and shouting". They would probably not have their demeanor targeted at all
the recently banned poster AmirTut said:I'm pretty much sure I said "Screaming" not "screeching" but then again I'm dyslexic. So let me carefully check my post. LOl, I've been saying "screening" but I meant "Screaming". So yeah I wasn't saying "screeching", they were literally screaming and shouting.
chemgeek said:My argument still stands with screaming and shouting instead of screeching. I repeat: if it was an Occupy protest, would you have called such behavior screaming and shouting, or would you have called it protesting?
Will live commenting be allowed? This could be fun!!!![]()
Or you could, you know, leave them alone.
Come on now. I've been as critical of their arguments and conduct as anyone. And I don't think there would be anything wrong with, say, attending their conference because you're actually curious about what they're saying although you expect to disagree. But what would you hope to gain by poking at them?
(Not responding to the previous post but to several from before that.)
P.Z. Myers?
When the subject of actually disrupting a meeting is brought up it's greeted with cheers and approval, nobody seems to want to admit that they are acting in the very way they are condemning.
Expelled: No Intelligence AllowedEvidence?
But I could see them setting it up, giving the time, password, etc. in their super secret secret forums, just so outsiders can't get in.
Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed
Myers, by his own account, obtained a pass code for a private conference call and interrupted the meeting. If you don't like the above source let me know and I'll provide another. It is no secret and Meyers details the account himself.
So screeching, screaming and shouting are now presumably verboten on A+
excuse me
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
But what would you hope to gain by poking at them?
Laziness.AAaarrrgghhh! Why did you link to Conservapedia?
Now I won't get anything done today! I just got lost in an article about how I'm an atheist because I'm short.
Apparently, I'm at risk of becoming overweight like PZ Myers, too.
Someone ought to send a link to this to 4chan. Our intrepid SJWs might never come out of their rooms again.
