You made the same threat that these Plusser idiots do - I'll be ejected for saying something you disagree with.
Perhaps you could quote exactly where that threat was made?

Very few. But why shouldn't there be a public dialog on trans issues?
I am not trying to make sense of the way A+ is using it, but it a useful term that makes sense to exist.

You're slandering "one of us", and "the rest of us" may not take too kindly to that.

It does? What action do you think ordinary members here can take? Do you have any evidence of the moderators, the ones with any power, forcing members out for not toeing the party line? This is not the Atheism+ forum.See, that says - we're going to take action unless you don't shut up, so you better know what's good for you.
More often than not, I'm the "calm down boyz, here have an olive branch" kind of poster.
...
To sum up:
Keen supporter starts an Atheism+ Facebook group, and decides to tell the forum about it.
Gets abuse and accusations of "privileged" hurled at him by multiple members.
...
Also notice how several of laughing coyote's posts have been edited to remove insults "at mod request". Not edited by a mod and given a warning for abusive behaviour ... not warned for not helping keep it a 'safe' community' ... but nudged in private, allowed to edit it, and still there with other abuse left in anyway.
Compare and contrast with treatment of Gloves, and westprog.

Of course, on A+ that's the one thing guaranteed to get a ban. I managed to avoid it as much as I could. Bombarding someone with abuse is a sure-fire way to get support. The trick is to get in first.
It's actually quite difficult to get banned on JREF. You really have to work at it. I was insulted on my first post here by a woman whose name I now can't recall. She broke the rules for years IIRC, and had to finally almost force them to kick her out.
The "social justice" bloggers make money from people clicking their blogs.

Moderators on a forum are there to keep things flowing and allow people to have their say without the fight getting too dirty. On this forum and most others they do it very well. On the A Plus forum their aim appears to be to crush dissent.
I missed that thread but I did run across the Facebook group and I was thinking "Wow, this Facebook group is lacking all the crazy on their own forum, I wonder why?"
Well...there's the answer, thanks for sampling the forum and catching that.
More important, the JREF forum allows dissent, even trolling. You just have to stay within the clear and posted rules.
Several 9/11 truthers have had a long run on the 9/11 CT sub-forum and one troll kept a thread about the JFK assassination going (aided and abetted by some of the "skeptics") for almost one entire year on the CT forum, where even Holocaust deniers have free speech.
How long would something like that be allowed on A+?
There can be, but not every issue is a tans issue - the same way not everything is a sexism issue, an atheism issue, a racism issue, etc. They want to make every issue about them and their pet ideology.
Unless I'm mistaken, this looks like your first post. Maybe it was a later one you're thinking of, but I couldn't see it in the first few I looked at.

When you phrase it in the form of a threat, where 'slandering" somone who is "us" (so Greta is a member here?) and say that there will be repercussions and I may be kicked off of the "us"....yeah. No threat. You sounded just like my students when they get written up.
As for the posting history, again I have to ask why I should care? I know nobody here in real life, and nobody here is more than an anonymous commenter. I'll judge what is posted - whether you're a saint or mother theresa in other threads doesn't matter. You made the same threat that these Plusser idiots do - I'll be ejected for saying something you disagree with. Wow. I have read here for a bit but never bothered to comment, but this train wreck is, for some reality-tv-show reason, keeps my amazed by the depths these people will go through.
