The comment flamewar is kinda funny/sad. I didn't see her back-down from saying there's no movement, just acknowledge that some people self-identify as A+.

It does confirm the early forum claims that the A+ forum is not the movement...looks like the "movement" is as DOA as it appeared to be last year.

Ok; I stand corrected about people calling themselves Ath Plus. I’ve seen very little of that, but of course that proves nothing; maybe I just missed it.

As for it being a thing, yes A+ exists, as for it being a force of change globally or through out all atheism, time will tell. I hope those in favor of more diversity and more social justice win, then again progressiveness usually does eventually.

It would seem that the want to whine about SJ issues overrides any desire to do any sort of proper research on a topic before posting about it.

An event happened, in this case a press conference. One of those "alternative" news sites grabs a small piece of what was said, and Setar, after reading that small piece, embellishes it with his own particular brand of stupid. Aplussers eat it up.
