A lot of us have more posts in this thread than you, but we mostly find them fascinating or annoying or fascinating and annoying (with a touch of infuriating on my side). You've got over a hundred posts, not necessarily defending or supporting A+ or FTB, but poking sticks at the people here who want to discuss them.
Do you have a point you wish to make other than the fact that we're a bunch of big ol' meanies? You can't call it hypocrisy - any of us would be banned on sight (if we haven't already been so) if we showed up there, and even if we got through the hazing phase, we wouldn't be allowed to discuss anything with them as the place is anathema to critical thinking and discussion, or as they put it... This Ain't Debate Club.
I have an topic that might act like a bomb in the atheism+ movement.
The SJW have demonstrated they are light on science and skepticism but there is still a strong core of "skeptics" in the atheism+ forums.
How do you think they would respond to somebody debunking anti-GMO propaganda? OR maybe somebody taking on the myths around organic food/farming?
I suspect that the SJWs will be screaming about Monsanto, frankenfoods, and every other crazy talking point of the anti-gmo conspiracy theorists. But I know for certain that some of the atheism+ people are active in debunking this type of stuff.
What do you think will happen? Where does atheism+ fall on the GMO issue?

I'm sure they hoped to be a growing movement, but the community that arose in their name proved to be unsustainable. Their obsession with making a safe space against trolls seems to have brought on a kind of OCD where they see trolls under every rock, and drip poison into themselves. Also, the members with the worst mental health issues have taken the power positions, making them in yet another way like religious fanatics.
In the meantime, I tried to watch Sarkeesian's new "Damsel in Distress: Part 2" which the Aplussers are falling over themselves to praise. It seems someone gave her $150,000 to point out that many video games use the "Save the Princess" cliche.

To be fair she started a Kickstarter with a goal of $6,000 to make 12 videos 10-20 minutes in length regarding common tropes used in video games that are negative portrayals of women. The only reason it reached $150,000 is backlash against the amount of vitriol that was being thrown at her for daring to do such a thing.

Also, I find it funny that she gets all that money and praise for doing what Extra Credits did a long time ago. It seems that A+ isn't so much interetsed in what's being said as they are in who's saying it. EC isnt' exactly an unknown entity (there was a bit of a scandal, which I think they were completely in the wrong on, but before that they were on The Escapist, and their YouTube following is pretty significant). I mean sure, they're not Roger and Ebert, but if you're interested in video game analysis I can't believe they wouldn't have come up at some point.

Their forum is different only in scale, not in kind, from some things I've seen on this forum. The issue with A+ isn't that they'll poison the movement; it's that they indicate that such intollerance and stupidity have reached a concentration where they feel they can band together. It's a trial balloon of sorts.
