Aaand I've been banned. The interesting part is the last post made in the new rule thread.

The last straw was challenging Setar's odd victory laps.

Setar and xe's standing in that forum is really something to behold, eh?
 
Where the heck has "The Laughing Coyote" run off to? It's cute how the admin over there are just now figuring out that YES, verbal abuse CAN happen over the intertubes. (and pretending that they never claimed otherwise.) I guess TLC doesn't want to participate at all if he can't call actual thinking, feeling people "human urinals"?

So what would the collective noun for APlusers be? My suggestions :

a Trigger
a Splain
an Oppression (that one is almost alliterative)

My personal vote would be for the consciously gender-specific 'a Cutting'(F), or 'a Lift' (M).

The interesting thing is that I was on double-secret probation and all my posts were being approved by mod before they were posted. So a mod approved a post, and then I was banned for the post...

It's a conspiracy :tinfoil !

Nah. That doesn't cover the Goths that are actually quite happy a lot of the time but just like to wear the clothes etc .

Thanks for that; I was at QEDCon, but that part of the programme was a twin track, and I went to the other option (I forget what it was), on the basis that I'd seen DJ a couple of times before. Catching up with it now; seems to have gone down well, so far. Why do you think the audience were not following?

Unless someone can tie this back to the main theme... bashing A+? I mean Dorner was black, right? Did the man really set him up for disgrace because he was applying for a sex change operation? Maybe he was deaf? He was kinda "big boned", perhaps he was weight challenged? Did he suffer from EWWAD*?

((*Like "Seasonal Adjustment Disorder", which every third member of A+ suffers from, EWWAD - Early Week Workplace Associative Disorder, which I just invented for this post, takes a common occurrence (Blue Mondays) and makes it into something that can earn you a Victim Merit Badge if you claim to have it)?

ETA: Oh, by the way, we finally did it. With the four+ pages of posts, plus the ones spun off to AAH, there are actually more posts in this one thread than they had on their whole board in the last 24 hours.

I hadn't heard of "shoegate" until yesterday. My opinion of her was already low, and it went lower when she started begging for money. Now it's lower still. Under one and approaching zero.

He's currently undergoing re-education after almost oppressing one of our poor fellow posters in this thread.

Or he's busy doing something else. I don't remember which.
