astrology,feng shui and research

So far I have not seen ANY evidence that astrology has ANY accuracy in ANY way, shape or form.

The reading you did for the guy born on the 20th of March 1978 (11.18 PM Seattle)

Would have fit for Kevin Federline...

Too bad he was born the 21th of march in Fresno.

Google doesn't always work now does it....

ive seen a few things like Aries people usually having reddish hair but idont know if this is due to astrology:confused:

Remember Christopher lee alias Dracula? He has these Saturnine, austere looks and in fact he has Saturn rising...but so does Sean Connery who doesnt lok at all like that.
Lucy Lawless alias Xena the princess warrior has typical Aries looks but not all aries look like her. maybe i tend to ignore the many people i see everyday who are Aries or Saturnine but dont look like ones. But then i would have to ask them all in the street: Excuse me are you an Aries?
Not practical.
To test astrology i need hel:boxedin: p from people who know many people.

you must be kidding! Are you really saying that all of the people born within the span of a sign (a month!) will look alike? Think about it: 1/12 of the population (roughly) share a sign - and therefore look alike - across cultures!

I hope even you can see how silly this is.

I suspect that it was a not-so-subtle way of saying that he found my frapperpage and the picture on it where it appears as if I have a redish tint to my hair.

For the record it's only the beard that is redish.

Oh and what did you think of the Cairn terrier?

Me thinks that Woodwater is a troll who like to google.

Are you sure that you're not biased?

How much interpretation on your part is involved in deciding whether someone has "power in parents palace"? Is it possible that, when you are looking at a chart for someone who you know to be a serial killer who was abused, you are consciously or unconsciously skewing the results in a particular direction?
Woodwater, you may have missed this because it was at the bottom of the last page.

In determining whether someone's chart shows particular characteristics, is there any interpretation on your part involved? Could you be consciously or unconsciously introducing bias as a result of knowing the sort of person the chart is for?

No. For example, i read that Peter Kurten, the Dusseldorf monster was abused by his tyrannical father in childhood. So i thought he must have had unfavorable power in parents palace, and he had. There were very few exceptions but then, i was unable to check enough serial killers. Not all were abused in childhood:boxedin:

maybe if any of you guys knows plenty of people who were abused or controlled by their parents in childhood, serial killers or not, so i can check if they have power in that palace.:)

You're not addressing the point I'm making here. When you are checking to see if people "have power in that palace", is any kind of judgement or interpretation on your part involved? If so (even if you're not doing it consciously) there is a possibility that you'll be interpreting things in such a way as to make them turn out the way you think they should.

To eliminate the possibility of unconscious bias on your part, you need to do some blinded testing.

No there is no interpretation. Either there is unfavorable power or not. Unfavorable power always means parents are too stern or abusive,:boxedin:

« skeptics say smoking is closely related to lung cancer. Thats why smoking is banned from monst public places today.

A skeptic can easily quote that a lot of chain smokers live to a very old age without lung cancer.A skeptic can also point that a lot of non smokers died of lung cancer.

Can we conclude that science is not accurate?

The argument by skeptics about astrology is just like that.It is not worth the time to answer.»

My teacher
Any comments?

No there is no interpretation. Either there is unfavorable power or not.
So in effect all you are doing is feeding the time and place of birth into a program and the results are explicitly stating either "this person has unfavorable power in parents palace" or "this person does not have unfavorable power in parents palace": there is no skill on your part involved here?
