Assistance required for telepathy proof

If there is anyone who is willing to help me could you let me know in the next day or so.
People have been trying to help you ever since you started this thread, four years ago. Has anything changed to make you more receptive to that help?

I will be willing to share the prize 50/50 with you.
I'll take that as a no. :(

Hi Golfy.

I had forgotten about this thread until you restarted it. (Please note that this is because I'm not able to hear your thoughts.)

Can I just check something: Are you aware that schizophrenia is an illness which makes some sufferers believe other people can hear what they are thinking? And are you further aware that sufferers tend to be mistakenly convinced that they are not ill but are genuinely psychic?

Just want to check where we stand now.

Most everyone here on this forum can not help you. It's been said before not just in this thread, but several other places on this forum, most of us here are not psychiatric professionals and therefore cannot help you in the way you need. It is imperative that you seek such help immediately if you are not receiving treatment currently. If you are, you might want to talk with your doctor/therapist about this thread. In fact, invite them to read this thread. It might reveal some insight as to your mental state.

As for the prize, the only prize you are winning right now is a ticket to a padded cell and a made-to-order straightjacket... neither of which many forumites would care to win.

Please seek professional help before continuing this thread.

I know I've already given an answer to this post but here's one I prepared earlier.

What I was asking is that if anyone can hear my thoughts, which I know people can, and would be willing to step forward and demonstrate that and to the JREF, then I would be willing to share the $1M prize with them on a 50/50 split.

What I was asking is that if anyone can hear my thoughts, which I know people can . . .

And yet you have to repeat the question here with good old pixelware.

Doesn't that tell you anything?

I'm pretty sure people have already done their own CBA and that's why you find yourself unswamped with offers.

Golfy, nobody can hear your thoughts unless you speak out loud. Telepathy does not exist.

Thinking that people can hear your thoughts is a common feature of some psychiatric disorders. Schizophrenics often believe that their thoughts can be heard by others, and/or that they can hear other people's thoughts. In reality, they cannot do either of those things, they are suffering from a delusion.

Nobody here is lying to you when they say they cannot hear your thoughts. I am not lying to you. I can't hear your thoughts, and I never have been able to, because it is not possible for anyone to hear your thoughts. I understand that you think everybody is lying to you, but in reality this feeling of yours is caused by your illness.

I urge you to get help from your GP, Community Psychiatric Nurse, local mental health team, psychiatrist or any other person who might be treating you for your illness, and explain to them that you are having intrusive thoughts of other people being able to hear your thoughts.

I wish you well in your recovery.

Why do you feel that it has to be someone from this forum? Why not someone close to you?

Why do you feel that it has to be someone from this forum? Why not someone close to you?

Because golfy thinks that the people he sends telepathic messages to are lying when asked if they received it and they say no. If you read his earliest protocol, he wanted a lie detector strapped to the subject to see if they were lying when they said they did not receive his telepathic message. He even complained when the police who stopped and talked to him didn't respond to his telepathic messages. He's said he tried it with people around him and they all lie to him when they tell him they never received his thoughts...

Because obviously people on an anonymous internet forum always tell the truth.

We all know you do, but that's beside the point! 8-)

It won't matter if anyone does volunteer for his challenge, in golfy's mind they are lying. They either will say they didn't get a message or say they did and repeated back an incorrect message, which in golfy's mind make them liars. If someone did volunteer, got a message from golfy, and repeated back the correct message, it would just embolden him that he's always been right and that everyone else in the world is a liar and make it very likely he will discontinue any treatment he may be receiving.

I know full well the dangers of mental illness and the problems, pain, and agony it causes when it goes on undiagnosed and untreated. It's a personal living hell I would not wish upon anyone and I sincerely hope (dare I even say pray) golfy seeks the aid they are in desperate need of.

Is sending obscene thoughts a reportable offense?
