Assistance required for telepathy proof

For the short sighted and lacking of insight and analysis.

Golfy, you really can't afford to be so arrogant when all you're posting is . . .

If I did 6 cat ship tests then I would conclude that the tests are indicating that I am telepathic as it is unlikely that I would get six correct predictions in a row.

If I got six predictions in a row wrong, it is statistically equally unlikely that that would happen so it also has an equal amount of meaning that the first test had.

If I had 2 and 4 right and wrong or the reverse of that or 3 and 3 right and wrong then that would prove inconclusive or show no signs of telepathy.

. . . gibberish.

golfy, your answers to these questions would be appreciated. And please none of your previous nonsense of "What do you think I would answer?" Clear, concise answers, please.
Not if you want to convince anyone other than yourself. Although if we're all conspiring against you, what makes you think any test would convince us? According to you, we already KNOW you're telepathic, so why are you bothering with testing at all?

golfy, nothing will verify your claim. We're all in on the conspiracy to deny it, remember? Why would we throw our hands in the air and say "Ok, you got us!" to any test?

Hmm, that raises a good point: are there other telepaths, golfy, or is it just you?

Your view on the effectiveness of the strategy is stated clearly in post #1187.

No it isn't.

That's where I say that discussing protocols is more 'indulging him in his delusion' than taking the piss out of him is. I don't make any statement on the effectiveness of indulging him by playing along.

Sledge - your domain in leading someone into an argument about semantics and unprovable opinion. I am not interested in that. I am trying to get meaningfull results to prove what I already know, nothing less.

Prove it to whom?
You already believe it, and we already know it and are conspiring to hide it.

So, EVERYONE already knows. To whom do you wish to prove it?

Not an answer to anything I asked you, golfy. The questions I've asked are very relevant to this thread. Please answer them.

Question 1 and 2 have been covered already. I do not see relevance in whether others are telepathic or not. I am trying to scientifically prove something that has never been proven before as I know I am telepathic, not if others are or not.

Who is this "you"? No-one has said quit on the first test.

With a 50:50 probability 6 runs is not enough to conclude anything, whether those 6 runs are all positive, all negative, or a mixture of the two. But the more runs you do, the more likely it is that a bias in one direction or another is a genuine indication that such a bias actually exists. And the more likely you are to see no such bias, if no such bias actually exists.

And why are you telling me what I and everybody else already know - do you really need to state the obvious about statistics when I have already stated that once the cat ship test has been shown to work reliably then I will do a run of tests with volunteers to gain meaningfull results.

I am prescient. I predict you will reject any evidence that tends to show no telepathic ability beyond what random chance will show.

Also, Planet X will not arrive this year or next. I have been making this prediction since 1997, and I have been correct every time these 14 years.

Then tell me what the answers to those questions were. If you've answered them already, you should have no difficulty doing this.

And you sould have no difficulty reading the posts that answered them.

That doesn't sound fair. There are more than 1200 posts on this thread. Why can't you post a link to those answers you gave?

Or telepath the link to all of us. We can read your thoughts, right? Surely one of us will not lie, and will post the link.

I have already explained it telepathically, so you have your information.

golfy

I have already explained it telepathically, so you have your information.

The information I received was ".........................." which I translated as "golfy isn't telepathic - his schizophrenia makes him think he is".

Everyone else get that too?

And because I cannot prove that and neither can you then the only way to solve this issue is with objective telepathy tests. This is what I am trying to do. I rest my case. No need for further unproductive discussion but focus on achieving meaningfull results.

What issue?

We already know whether or not we can hear your thoughts.

You're the only one with an issue to solve.

Post your answers here golfy. Or is it possible that you can't answer my simple questions?

I think you've hit the nail on the head.

Golfy is desperately trying to come up with a test so that he can prove to himself that he is telepathic. Everyone else already knows if he is or he isn't, so he can't be trying to prove anything to others. He just wants to get proof for himself that he isn't schizophrenic.

If I had 2 and 4 right and wrong or the reverse of that or 3 and 3 right and wrong then that would prove inconclusive or show no signs of telepathy.

You got 4 right, 5 wrong and declared one null out of 10. This is inconclusive and shows no sign of telepathy. Yet you still count it as a hit. No matter what results you get, you'll conclude it's a hit.

Please seek help from a mental health expert. There's no reason why doing so means that you can't continue to test the telepathy you believe you have.
