Merged Artificial Intelligence

Claude Code can easily write efficient assembly language code targeting the MSPM0C1104, an arm32 Cortex SoC MCU with a whopping 1K of SRAM.

1M? Luxurious.
So we're talking about microcontrollers now? The MSPM0C1104 has 16kB of Flash ROM for program code. The SRAM is normally only used to store data.

1k of SRAM is luxurious compared the chips I'm working with, starting with the PIC12F508 at 25 bytes of SRAM and 512 words of Flash ROM.

No doubt Claude has already scraped all my published source code so it can pretend to code as well as me. I release my source code into the public domain so that humans can learn from it, not so trillionaires can make the world dependent on their data centers. AI won't be getting its grubby hands on any more of my source code.

There was a lot written about it last year, I think the likes of Spotify have tried to address it.
Yes. I posted this back in August:

Yes, we're talking about microcontrollers to demonstrate how wildly off-base your post was. Using an LLM does not imply incorporating an LLM into your codebase or your OS, the code they write is not bloated at all, and they can easily target MCUs with far fewer resources than the antique computers you were talking about.

What's the relevance? 17K would still be significantly less than 1M.

1k of SRAM is luxurious compared the chips I'm working with, starting with the PIC12F508 at 25 bytes of SRAM and 512 words of Flash ROM.
And coding models can write code for them, too, so why bring it up, unless you want to be even wronger?

You don't understand how LLMs work at all, and it's amusing that you're attempting to position yourself as anti-trillionaire when there's only ever been one of those in the world and you worship him.
