I glean from a few of the woo-sites, and from Bell's Saturday show, that he is moving to the Phillipines, and will do his show from there. He describes the islands as a paradise, and the most beautiful place in the world to live.
I spent a missionary summer in Manila (1988 - during my misspent youth), and can assure you that the slums of Manila are no laughing matter. They make the African poor look like Manhattanites.
