Arriving at TAM4

Okay, to be exact, I'm getting in at 8h51, Air Canada, flight AC546.

Though, being as I'm flying Pinko Air, I strongly doubt it will be on time.

Any available rideshares would be appreciated, though.
 
I have a friend arriving at 10:39pm on Alaska Air 694 on the 25th - she's on a TAM4 scholarship (my own) and is kinda broke. Anyone going to be arriving late on the 25th with a spare seat to the Stardust?

Antique, if nothing materializes, tell her to take a taxi and then visit the on-site TAM4 scholarship service center.

I'll be driving into town on Wednesday afternoon and will be more than happy to make a couple of laps to the airport after I get checked in. I'll only be good for 2 people at a time, maybe 3 if the luggage isn't too massive (I'm driving a sedan).

If anyone still doesn't have a ride confirmed, shoot me a PM.

Oh, and I have to go through 'merikan customs, so really, it's like my flight is getting in at 10 pm.
 
I'm arriving Thursday at 2:04 PM. Useless Air Flight #697 from Philadelphia.

Jas - I don't know where you're arriving from - but most large Canadian airports (Vancouver, Pearson etc...) do pre-clearance of US Customs before you leave. So depending on where you're leaving from, you won't have a customs delay in Vegas. Anything to maximize the time you can spend at the tables...

Er, haha, I knew that. I was just testing everyone's knowledge, to make sure they knew to get to the airport on time.

But thanks for that, I forgot that I go through it before leaving. I'm used to European and Mexican (the button system they have is awesome, btw), customs. It's been a while since I've been to the States.

Ah, probably not as I am entered in the JREF No-Limit Hold'em Tournament that night.

However, we start playing at 8PM and if I get busted out at 8:30PM, well..PM me your flight information (airline, Flight number) just in case.

But plan on a shuttle or taxi...unless someone else reading this thread wants to play host.

I always wanted someone standing at the terminal with a sign with my name on it like I was a rockstar.

If you were a rockstar your driver wouldn't have your name on the sign, it would attract too much attention.

Instead, it would be your manager's name, or a fake name like Dr Bumblespoon.

You haven't thought this through. It takes a rockstar like me to clarify.

Loon and I made one for Stimpy last year that read "Dr. Stupid". But we ended up forgetting it in the car :rolleyes:

Also, I think holding up the skepchick calendar at the appropriate month would be an excellent way to get others to point out where to find tkingdoll :D
