OK, restart this one. Eveybody can see when others are arriving so that they can make plans.

I arrive at 12:34PM on Thursday, 26 January, on American Flight 1395 from Dallas-Ft. Worth. I'll meet Paul Aganostoupoulos at 1:00PM and pickup a rental vehicel, so anyone with a similar arrival time should contact me and see if I'm in a good mood.

Depart Tuesday, 31 January, at 9:25AM via American Flight 656

Arrival

The Mrs. and I will be arriving from Colorado at 3:35pm on Wednesday, 1/25 on Allegiant, flight 465. Departing on Monday, 1/30 at 11:05am on Allegiant flight 464.

We are not renting a car, since we're not planning on driving around Vegas this trip.

We'll either take the shuttle to the Stardust, share a cab, or get a lift from some other awesome skeptic!

hmmmm, we are coming in Tuesday night or Wed morning.

We need a ride...3 women and their luggage. I'm thinking maybe a big RV would do the job.

Hey, Hutch- do you live in Plano?

I was curious because I have a family of Vikings living around the corner, and I noticed you were flying out of D/FW. It would be Uber-cool if you happened to live in TimberBrook- I might walk my 2 dogs past your house every day!

All going well, arriving Thursday 26 Jan, United flight UA 1574 from Los Angeles, due at 12:15. Planning to find and use the Stardust shuttle, but will gladly accept a passing skeptic lift!

We will have arrived at Los Angeles that morning from Sydney...it's a 14 hour flight, so don't expect sparkling Zep conversation! :s2:

I'm arriving on Thursday afternoon just in time to hitch a ride with Hutch. Hutch, where shall we meet?

I'm leaving around 4pm on Sunday.

Okay, here's the deal.

I want to go, but I don't want to have to think about it. Last year I just popped in last second, but now I need to plan and stuff . . . so somebody just work it out for me, okay? I want to show up in time for the start of the drinking, and I want to leave just before the drinking is over. I want someone to pick me up at the airport in exchange for maybe a handshake, and if it's Renata then I want to go straight to the bar and skip the tour that I got last year. I also want to see Red Rocks or the Grand Canyon or something, but I'm a crazy hippy without a car or a driver's license.

Also, I don't feel like getting a room, I'd rather just sleep with a different person every night like last year. I'll need some volunteers to help me with that.

So someone tell me when to get there and when to leave, and I'll go ahead and book the tickets.

Appreciated.

Paul, since I'll be in about 25 minutes earlier than you (Ed/FSM and American Airlines willing) I can meet you in the middle-section of Baggage claim (where the rental car places are). I think my rental is with Payless, so look for that rental stand and I'll be around there.

Zep, if you're not completely zonked out after getting your bags, I'll be happy to offer you a ride--but you'll have to wait a bit and then ride out to the Rental car lot with Paul and I, so a shuttle may be faster (and IIRC, the hotel itself doesn't have a shuttle, it's a privately run shuttle that may stop at 3-4 other hotels before getting to the Stardust). Your call.

I would be happy to pick you up at the airport, but Eos paid in Hugs last year for transportation so I'm spoiled and holding out for a Hug.

I'll leave it up to the other posters to work out sleeping and drinking arrangements.

Note that on Monday I plan to drive to Hoover Dam and Red Rocks, so if you are staying over Monday, you're welcome to join me and whoever else wants to go--but remember, you are the Navigator!

Of COURSE I'm the navigator, always! Unless I'm distracted by looking out the window or something. So if I go with you, should I plan on not leaving until Tuesday?

Yep. Doubt you could find a flight in the evening anyway--unless you took the "redeye: at night and arrived in Boston early Tuesday morning, just in time to go to work...:p

edited to add...just ran expedia, and Delta and America West have flights that leave Vegas on Monday around 11pm and arrive in Boston about 7am...I'm sure you could put in a full day's work on the 3 hours sleep you would get on the plane...

Sorry I missed this, QH. No, I'm of Irish heritage (albeit given Viking raids, who knows??) and DFW is merely a place to change flights for American Airlines.

say hi to the babies...

As it stands at the moment, I will be arriving from Cleveland on America West Airlines Flight 538 at 9:51PM on Wednesday, Jan 25. I have never been to Las Vegas, nor do I know my way around, so it would be helpful if somebody met me. Barring that, I will likely take a taxi or shuttle directly to the Stardust from the airport, whence I shall most likely proceed to look for the person who offered to let me crash in her room Wednesday night...

...unless anybody else has another suggestion.

Arriving on January 24th at 8:50pm. Leaving on the 30th at 11:25pm.

Even though it looks like I'll be one of the first ones in LV I'm not renting a car so I can't pick anyone up later, sorry. :(

Arriving at noon on Thursday, Jan 26th on SWA flight 2064. Hutch/Paul, maybe I should try to hook up with you guys?

Depart at noon on Tuesday, Jan 31st, SWA flight 1559.

Sign me up for the Hoover Dam/Red Rocks thingy on Monday. I can rent a car if we need more vehicles.

I am staying by myself, but have a king size bed, which could comfortably fit 2 Skepchicks. :D

No problem, I'll be in about 1/2 hour after you so you'll have to hang around the baggage area and try not to look to suspicious to Security...

Hmmm, that's Paul, Scrutinizer, and maybe Zep and Ms. Zep--glad I rented that mini-van...

I may be able to transport some folks too, if you're arriving on Wednesday. Kim and I had a change of plans, we'll actually be driving to Vegas from Arizona, after visiting with my family for a few days. We'll be getting into town on Wednesday. It's also possible that I'll be picking Kim up at the airport, so see my previous post in this thread for the flight information.
