I heard on NPR this morning that there are over one hundred factories in Argentina that have been taken over by the workers after being closed by the owners. Apparently this sanctioned by the courts. The commentator said this is partly responsible for the 'robust industrial growth' in the last year. Apparently people are concerned about how to recover from the economic meltdown.
This sound somewhat similar to what had been happening in Yugoslavia, you have cooperatively owned factories operating in a capatalist economy.
