Are Flying Saucers Supernatural?

Right back at cha...and it's good to "see" you...cheers. :)
Ditto. Nice to see a rational warrior from the "good old days" still addressing woo/promoting critical thinking. :)

Of course. Lets examine that term. It's basically defined as "beyond natural"...or more precisely, in my opinion, beyond science, or another way I like to put it, beyond evidence.

If something is not evidenced, then just why should anyone pay a lick of attention??
I think some people need to believe we humans are so special that ET, elementals, the dead, and [name your woo] can't get enough of us. Same goes for woo things that are assigned to us specifically, things like ESP, remote viewing, PK etc, anything less is insufficient for them. I think they are missing a lot myself, the universe we live in is awe-inspiring enough without the woo toppings.

BTW, I noticed I transposed "supernatural" and "paranormal" in this thread. Same thing as far as I'm concerned.

Somebody (maybe even on this thread) posed this scenario: Imagine NASA spent several billions of dollars on floating some manned spacecraft to the star Shedir, with the intention of abusing the bodies of the creatures there with probes. Is that a good use of precious earth-ducats? If you were the king of NASA, would you do it?

I've been pondering this question. I don't think they are necessarily. I certainly don't think we're being visited by aliens, but it's not because I think that alien visitation is supernatural.

It's been proven that there are spacecrafts orbiting the earth. It's proven because humans put them there, so flying saucers and aliens are only as supernatural as space shuttles and humans. It's possible that living things traveling between planets is supernatural, but I'm not exactly sure how.

I usually rule out the supernatural, much to the chagrin of my religious friends, but I think whether aliens count is an interesting question that I can't quite answer. What do you all think?

There is nothing supernatual about frisbees, no. But we most are being visited by aliens, your statement is patently false. there are several of them working on the landscaping crew where I live this very day.

A sonic boom is a result of atmospheric conditions that are of our planet. Also flying saucers or any other kind of future flight derived for space travel will be a space changing machine. It will actually be changing space and time by atomic molecular transmission.

Who told you that, Buck Rodgers?

Well, the OP never mentioned UFOs. He mentioned flying saucers and aliens, so I assume he meant extraterrestrial beings flying around in their craft.

Bull puckey.

I've explained frisbees.
And Mexicans dont come from space.

The rest of this shouldn't be this hard for you skeptic types to understand.

Ahhhh memories.

Flying saucers don't exist. Except in the minds of those who talk to giant rabbits.

I don't believe in Australia. Can you provide me with the body of a dead Australia? Australia DNA or droppings? Decent photos or video of a wild Australia lurking in the Scottish highlands? Didn't think so. Until such evidence is provided, the only sensible conclusion is that Australia is simply a hoax. If Australia really exists, it's going to take the work of real scientists to gather this evidence, it would be foolish to simply accept the word of self-claimed "Australians".

You dont believe in frisbee's or our southern neighbors? What about Australia?

Ummmm... well, yes I believe frisbees exist. I just moved into a new place and there was one left behind on the lawn from the previous tenants. I picked it up and it had a Huntsman spider under it.

And yes, my understanding is that there is a big island in the southern hemisphere that is commonly known as Australia.

I'm not really sure why you're asking those questions though. In this thread I believe we're talking about these:

A better question - if I was "King of NASA" and we were advanced enough to travel to the Shedir system, would probing/acquiring genetic material ad nauseum from the Shedirites even be necessary?
