Archaeology? Interested?

As a child, I became extremely interested in archaeology after seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark. When I learned the actual science involved significantly less use of whips and nazi face melting magic boxes, my enthusiasm waned a little.
 
Always liked archaeology. Might have tried to do something with it, but science kind of got in the way.

BTW, here is an interesting find for you:
An Arabic inscription that bears the name of the Holy Roman Emperor, Frederick II, and the date "1229 of the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus the Messiah", was recently deciphered by Professor Moshe Sharon and Ami Shrager of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During the deciphering it became evident that this is a rare archaeological find - the only one of its kind.
