The official line was that Canada could prove it could protect both countries if required. The Canadians took over for a short period & temporarily switched of the defence system as planned. They used Boeing remote control technology even though the terrorists ( who were set up ) were in the plane

What is this recent thing about the sun being too bright to look at? I'm sure I remember it being that way as a small child 25ish years ago. Are there people who've been wearing welders masks their whole life?

What are considering "recent"? I first became aware of it about about 5-6 years ago on the Godlike Productions forums. That's when I was first was exposed to significant amounts of The Crazy™, so it's probably been around longer than that.

I have to say it was creepy going to Egypt in January and seeing the sun so high. I suspect it was higher in Egypt in January than it is in Scotland in June. Don't know where to find out for sure though.

Yeah, and when I was in England one November it started to get dark like around 4:00 in the afternoon. What's that about? Spooky, definitely spooky.
