Apparently being POTUS means you can be rude

There was no idiocy about Romney. And it wasn't an accusation. Romney told a story about strapping his dog to the roof of his car for a 12 hour horrorfest, and people were rightly appalled. </snip>
....25 to 30 years after the fact.

Obama, on the other hand, relayed that when he was a small child, someone fed him dog meat when he lived in a place where they eat dogs.
and people picked and raged at it.... 25 to 30 years after the fact...

That's the whole reason it blew up into a big equivocation fad...

BTW In case you guys didn't notice earlier that remark I made was a joke made to be humorous as a follow up to your sarcastic post, not as a literal rehash of this beaten to a pulp topic. Maybe I didn't make the "*duck*" remark more obvious at the end, I don't know but if you didn't see the joke now you know. I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to elaborate since you know... the joke's trajectory was kind of ruined as was the humor spirit I was aiming for.

BTW, I looked up the OP finally and... for the record, I think Obama made up more than enough for his stunt by buying lunch for the people he jumped in front of. It's not like he flipped a complete middle finger at the people he skipped in front of like he could have if he chose to do it only for himself... Criticisms are better aimed at the congestion that is caused with all of the security detailing he needs to be places... that actually interfere with public venues to a high degree... I just can't feel the rage with this incident, much less the importance of it being big news other than the fact that it's a moment that I would seemingly compliment him for doing in spite of the fact that I'm not a fan of him as POTUS.

If he'd waited in line, the cries would be that he's wasting taxpayer money waiting.
If he skips the line, he's being an egotistical jerk.

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. That's been the game the last six years, and I don't doubt it'll continue for the last two.

Great play for the base, but it's costing them fence sitters. Post-Republicanism is becoming a thing now.

Hey, if we can finally put to rest the laughable idea the Republicans are fiscally responsible, I'll start being happier.

There was no idiocy about Romney. And it wasn't an accusation. Romney told a story about strapping his dog to the roof of his car for a 12 hour horrorfest, and people were rightly appalled. Especially since Romney told the story as if it showed some sort of leadership on his part. What a horrible, horrible thing to do to a dog.

It's still better than eating it.

For the record, here is the original Boston Globe article in which the story appeared (from 2007). Your version is a little mangled. I'm surprised the Democrats hadn't picked up on the fact that Mitt forced his 13 year old son to ride in the way-back of a crappy station wagon on a 12 hour trip. Perhaps their thinking was that Tagg was predestined to grow up to be a Republican - so screw him.

I did a Bayesian analysis, and I find a 87% chance that Mitt Romney is a sociopath.

Show your work please.
