Anyone following the Casey Anthony trial

Casey Anthony spotted in Ohio!!! Hold the presses, we have our first sighting, and unlike Bigfoot, we have real photographic evidence!!

Casey Spotted

Oh please! There is only one "not guilty of murdering my child" Casey Anthony in the entire United States and there are hundreds or thousands of Bigfeet all across the United States (one is probably in your backyard right now). Since we can't get a clear photograph of any of them (and again, let me emphasize they are everywhere) it is a scientifically impossibility that we can ever get a photograph of Casey Anthony.

Yet, there she is, strolling around the streets in Ohio. Good for her. She should be able to move on.

Prosecutors were seeking over $500,000 from her but the Judge says she should pay $97,676.

Anthony must pay almost $100K for investigation

Prosecutors had asked that Anthony be forced to pay those costs since she lied repeatedly to investigators who were searching for her missing toddler, Caylee, in summer 2008. The judge said the costs should only cover the period when detectives were investigating a missing person and not the homicide investigation — a sum of $97,676.

Casey Anthony Prosecutors Missed Bombshell: Report

(Newser) – Prosecutors overlooked a bombshell piece of evidence in the Casey Anthony case, Orlando's WKMG claims. On the day of daughter Caylee's death, someone did a computer search for "fool-proof suffication [sic]" and accessed an article that recommended using poison. Anthony lawyer Jose Baez was aware of the computer activity, and planned to say Casey's father, George, was responsible for the searches because he was thinking of killing himself after Caylee accidentally drowned. But the Orange County Sheriff's Office failed to give prosecutors the evidence, and WKMG's investigation reveals Casey was most likely the one searching.

The searches were done while cellphone records show Casey was likely home. They were done on Firefox, a browser primarily used by Casey, and MySpace was accessed a minute after the "suffication" search—that's a site Casey, not George, used often. "We were waiting for the state to bring it up," Baez tells the station. "And when they didn't, we were kind of shocked." WKMG blames "woefully incomplete information" from the sheriff's office for the fact that prosecutors never even saw the evidence; it apparently only turned over Internet Explorer browser history from that day.

Does it make any difference now? They still can't retry her, right?

Nope. Not legally. You can only be tried once for one crime, unless there's a mistrial. Even if they found absolute proof later on.

I generally agree with most of our laws and protections, but in this case.... :(

My heart weeps for that little girl, and I just do not understand Casey she was not convicted of murder one. The duct tape alone, IMO, was enough...add in the lies and the parties and the constant blame shifting, and I think she should have been facing life at minimum.
