Oh my. What's another 90 billion?
It's all Bush's fault anyway.
But I am still wondering if the trillion dollar yearly deficits predicted to occur 10 years from now under Obama's spending plans will be blamed on Bush?
<snip>
Don't be ridiculous; Bush isn't smart enough for it to all be his fault. In all seriousness, though, there's plenty of blame for our current mess to go around on both sides of the aisle dating back at least to the Carter administration if not further. But there's still no question that Bush was about the least competent President in the past 100 years or so. There's also no question that Obama is a hell of a lot smarter than Bush. It remains to be seen whether he'll use his smarts more competently or not. However he manages, there'll be no rational way to claim that he couldn't have done better had he not been preceeded by such a mind-numbing incompetent as Bush, who left him some of the worst messes in recent history to clean up after.
