And, of course, in the 'truther' wooniverse, experts who give opinion to a publication never bother to read said publication afterwards, in just the same way that witnesses who report things at variance with the official account never actually know that the official account doesn't include their testimony because they don't read it or the poor functionaries who carried out the orders of the evil conspirators never give a second thought to how their actions on the day may have been part of the deception because they don't bother to watch the coverage.

If you wish to claim that Popular Mechanics are lying about the contributing experts and their options, then you will need to provide some evidence for the same. Remember, the burden of proof is on you.
 
LC I'm confused about something though. In order for you to acknowledge the experts that were consulted for the book, you want to see transcripts of exactly what they said? What exactly do you require? Does every expert on that list need to send you a 'thinking of you' Hallmark card explaining in detail what they think about 911?

They're names are there for all to see. PM needs permission to put them there. Contact them yourself. Aren't you the intrepid investigator?

How do you know what part of the PM book is expert opinion and which expert opinion and which part is Jim Meigs opinion or better yet Benjamin Chertoff’s?

Meigs the 9/11 expert who wrote "Make your own Music Video" and Chertoff who has done what?

Then there is always the PM fact checker what's his name... Davin Coburn ?

THE QUOTES ARE IN THE POPMECH ARTICLES!!! If you would have actually read what you try to dismiss, you'd realize that! The authors don't just build a list of people they talked to, they actually quote them in the work!

That is an implication that the experts were anonymous. You asked "where are they". I answered with a list of their names, a list that is easily found on their web site. Your first question is answered: There they are. Now, you want to make some sort of argument that because Gage presents his arguments personally and the others were interviewed that Gage is somehow more valid? More correct? What about personal presentations overcomes the physical impossibilities and outright errors of the conspiracy fantasy?

And for the love of God! Learn the difference between "appeal to authority" and "citing authority"! When you claim that a statement is correct simply because of who they are - like you do - then you are the one who's appealing to authority. When you quote an expert giving a fact or an analysis - like Meigs does - and the fact or analysis derives it's validity not from the person stating it, but from inherent factors then you are citing authority. Meigs cites authority. You appeal to it. Please learn the difference.

Good God, I can't believe this actually has to be explained...
 
What the hell does the Popular Mechanics book have to do with the qualifications of the so-called-experts over at AE911Truth?

You know, LC, the PopMech book is inexpensive and an easy (and well-written) read with some good pictures. Also quotes from experts and lists of contributors. How's about you belly up to that bar, plunk down a credit card, and buy a copy? Oh and then read it. http://www.popularmechanics.com/blogs/911myths/

You don't have to say you agree with it. Just read it so you can say "I hated it" with something resembling sense and personal authority.
