If you allowed me my right to execute all suspected poets, would we have this problem? No.

What's a mystery is how you can accuse everyone else of being obtuse when you refuse to answer questions, back up your claims and expect everyone else to prove a negative.Electron #1 said:It really must be one of those world mysteries.
Electron #1 said:Can anyone explain just why the NRA would find it in all of America's intrest ( enough to spend tax payer funds on making legislation ) that protect manufactuer's or distributors from civil suit when in previous scenario they are shown to be complacent in providing the Washington sniper with the
weapon to not only kill with but make so difficult to track down and identify?

TragicMonkey said:Because the NRA isn't concerned about prevention of misuse or of solving crimes. Their sole concern is in keeping firearms available.
They apparently think that without such legal protections, manufacturers would be forced out of business, thereby depriving the public of firearms.

RandFan said:The truth is that the violence in schools is falling. The odds of getting shot at school are quite low. Odd since Moore argues that dying from a terrorist attack is low. Moore further argues that the media is scaring us with all of the attention on terrorism and then he scares the hell out of parents about school shooting when in reality the odds are statistically insignificant. I wonder why folks don't get that Moore's little movie does exactly what he complains about, offers no solutions and asside from being entertaining it is a big waste of time.
