Another lying Trumper

And yet there are numerous Trump ass kissers in the Congress who continue to kiss Trump ass long after they are actually in the Congress.

Of course. Most of them are scared to death of being "primaried." But they're not looking for jobs with the Trump Org.

Hell, for most of them, being in Congress is the perfect job. No need to actually govern, just vote against everything that comes up because it's all from the Dems, and they can just say whatever stupid **** comes out of their mouths, because their heavily-gerrymandered voting districts will always give them a pass and re-elect them.

They're basically being paid to troll the libs 24/7.

A major reason why I am a strong supporter of Term Limits in Congress. I think we would see a lot less of this behavior if people knew they could not make a lifetime job of being in congress.
5 terms for the house, 2 for the Seanate, then out.
And I think some Dem Congresspeople are capable of that kind of behavior.

Agreed.

But that's still 10 years and 12 years respectfully. And their salaries start at $174,000 a year. They also have allowances for office and travel expenses, "Senators’ average allowance is $3,306,570, while representatives’ is typically $900,000".

We know they're half-assing their office work, so they can roll most of that over into "travel expenses". Give a short "The Dems are evil and stole the election!" rant to a group of "voters" so they can claim they're "working", and they can fly just about anywhere in the country on the taxpayer's dime.

For a zero-skill idiot like this guy, 10 years of that is nothing to sneeze at. And you know he'll probably roll this into a gig on Fox or OANN after he's out of office.

But there is something to be said for experience. We don't need or want inexperienced newbies coming in every 5 years. We just don't need or want career politicians who spend decades in Congress.

Giving more power to lobbyists to write legislation because the Congress people don't know how sounds like a bad idea. But we already have that too with the cutting of staff and research offices.

It's a mess I haven't been able to figure out a side for. Term limits sound good, but don't seem like they can deliver with addressing the actual problems. It would just make the lobbyist revolving door turn a little faster.
