One Gaylard Williams by name, of the Praise Cathedral Church in Seymour, Indiana.

He (allegedly) propositioned a younger man by the waterfront in nearby Cypress Lake. When the man opened his car windows to speak to the pastor, Williams (allegedly) grabbed and squeezed his genitals.

When questioned by olice Williams admitted he'd previously experimented with gay sex, despite publicly preaching that homosexuality was evil.

The deacon said he is devastated about the pastor’s behavior. It’s not as much the groping; to him, that remains something of a he-said-he-said mystery. The deacon’s really irate over the porn that was pulled from inside Williams’s car.

Holy carp! These people are messed up. Assaulting someone gets a pass, but having porn is the last straw. Does he really think the young man made it all up, and then out of pure coincidence Williams had gay porn in his truck?

The report would read better if, instead of "grabbed and squeezed," they'd written "fondled."

I never understood that phrase. What do they mean, "experimented with gay sex"? They were trying to do something else, and thought it would work better if they threw some gay sex in there as well? "I was just brainstorming a new way to process accounting receipts when I thought 'why not throw some gay sex in', to see if it helped any." "And did it?" "Results were inconclusive, I need to run the experiment a few hundred thousand more times."
