I just spent my lunch eating a burrito and composing this tripe. Think anyone would fall for it? Think I could make money if I offered this service?

That's scary, man, it reads like what people really say. You need a few words about how you can make any number from prime factors, etc, though, to make the bafflegab sound even better.

(Note, it's a product with a real use, you can't blame the audio people for nabbing onto it. Sometimes it really does apply, too.)

and of course cooking your cables is not a one-time fix. according to the FAQs you'll get great results cooking them every few months.

Will cables revert back over time requiring a second burn in, or are the results permanent?

Unless cabling is completely disconnected for a long period of time, we don't think they "completely" revert back to their original, raw state. However, in our experience, break-in is a long-term, but not permanent phenomenon. Cabling seems to benefit (as does one's system) with a periodic "recharge" of 12--24 hours, every few months. Many Cooker owners have been doing this every 3 or 4 months, and we recommend it as well. This makes the Cable Cooker a better long-term value. Using the Cooker is not a "one-shot" premise or exercise.

I did not know that cabling benefited from a periodic recharge!
