WRT the bolded portion - after past elections, anyone paying attention knows that there will be questions about the vote, no matter who wins.

I don't forsee riots in the event of a republican win - economic failure, people can't feed their famlies, bad things everywhere - Obama loses, no big whoop.

Yes. it is inevitable that some percentage of those disapointed in the results will blame the results on racism. Of course, this is mitigated by the fact that some number of the votes that contributed to the results will actually be based on racism.

The left managed not to burn cities when, from their perspective, Bush stole his first presidency. I suspect that the left will react with more calm than did the rabid right during the Clinton presidency. America held hostage, indeed.

While it is true that some segment of the left intentionally and inaccurately paints all Obama opposers as racist, it is also true that some segment of the right oppose Obama soley because he is Black.

Nope. Given the choice between a viable Black candidate and a viable White candidate, a majority of Black Americans will vote for the Black candidate, until viable Black candidates are more commonplace.

Given a choice between a viable Black Democrat and a viable Black Republican, a majority of Black Americans will vote for the Black Democrat. As there is no viable Black Republican candidate, Black Americans will again vote for Obama.
